This is just a wonderful place to stay. Their rooms are comfortable and very clean, and their breakfast is superb. Also having free parking makes this hotel stand out. You cannot go wrong by staying here, with a beautiful look at the sea. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Mary.

Great view from the restaurant and outdoor seating. Our room was very small, and we couldn’t keep the shades open because people in the neighboring office building could see into our room, even though we were on a higher floor. Clean and very accommodating.

I’m genuinely puzzled as to how Hotel Mary earned a 4-star rating. Our experience here was underwhelming, to say the least. Firstly, the room didn’t match the photos online. It felt outdated and not nearly as nice as advertised. The bathroom was a particular disappointment, with mold visible in multiple spots—far from a 4-star standard. The bed was overly soft, making for an uncomfortable sleep, and surprisingly, there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. When we asked the staff if a kettle was available, they said yes but charged us for it. We were also asked to pay 5 euros per tea bag! One staff member said it was free, but another insisted on the charge—communication among the staff was clearly lacking. Speaking of staff, most seemed unsure about basic policies, and some were outright rude. It was frustrating trying to get simple answers or service. The restaurant was another letdown: the prices were high, and the food was tasteless and lacked the quality you’d expect at this level. Overall, this is a 3-star experience at best. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Mary if you’re looking for a genuine 4-star stay in Vico Equense.

Hotel Mary was a great place to stay at, had great views and the staff were friendly. It’s a Family Owned Business. For transportation, we mostly relied on their family member, Antonio. He’s a really nice guy- always available to provide transportation when needed.

Wonderful Hotel and wonderful staff! Will stay here again! Can’t wait to go back! 5 min walk from the town centre and very laid back and quiet. Train station is only a 10 min walk away and there are taxis as well. Food at the hotel and local restaurants was excellent. The included breakfast at the hotel was amazing. ONE and only disappointment was the pool was very cold!! But otherwise phenomenal hotel and people!

Gave us a different room than I booked. The owner stared at us with no smile as if he was judging us. Would not stay there again: bartender was nice and a couple of the front desk people were nice as well.

It was a lovely hotel , reception staff not so friendly at the start but really nice and accommodating into our stay . Really great options for breakfast if you have allergies . Location needed up feeling too far out for Sorrento for us ...daily train rides to get into Sorrento was a must as there was nothing to do locally .

Josie at the front desk made our stay!!! She is a gem. The view from the property is amazing. Loved the pool. Vico Equense is a cute little town - we walked to the center. Cute shops. Food and beverage at the hotel is excellent and the rooms are very clean and updated. Loved the decor. The staff is excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Mary was an excellent stay on the Sorrento coast. Staff, cleanliness and views are great. Sunsets from the sea view room balcony will not disappoint. Breakfast was also really good with lots of options. The only thing to note is the Sea Club is a difficult walk, there is a shuttle but it costs money. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and loved the staff!

The people in the service were magnificent. The location is absolutely perfect to visit Sorento or Positano or anything in that region they offer evening shuttles that take the local restaurants which are delicious the staff is very friendly and very helpful I recommend this hotel

I booked a single room which was small but well laid out. View from the room overlooking the pool area and ocean was stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for me. It was just a short walk from the center of town. Breakfast was enjoyable and there was a huge selection. I unfortunately had the chance to use the pool or beach area as I ran out of time but both areas looked beautiful, clean and inviting. The hair dryer provided in the room could use an upgrade but it did the trick. Would stay again!

The resort was exactly what we were looking for as we wrapped up our trip to Italy. The pool was lovely, the transportation to the amazing beach club was flawless and easy, the sea view from our room was stunning, staff were friendly, walk to nearby restaurants was short and easy. 10/10 recommend!
