Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. We stayed in a suite with a king size bed. The bed was very uncomfortable. So hard it hurts. Pillows were also hard and/or flat. I would not recommend for a good night’s sleep.

It was our first time in Venice. The Duodo Palace Hotel has a prime location! It’s nestled in a quiet area, yet close to all main attractions in the city! The water port is very convenient. We were able to book a water taxi at the front desk for the morning we were leaving as it was super early. The bedroom was comfortably spacious and had all needed amenities. Beautiful lobby and ceilings! Would stay there again.

We paid more for balcony room, balcony was virtually in accessible. This room was in terrible condition, stained old carpet, 4 sets of stairs, the other side had an elevator. The worst part was the bathroom, tub only,no showers curtain, no enclosure, hand held shower handle in tub, so either sit in tub(haven't sat in a tub since I was 9). regardless,, you ended up with water everywhere, and never felt clean. Other units were remodeled, so don't get sucked in by romantic balcony?!

Honeymoon
We went on a tour of Europe for our honeymoon and this stay was incredible. Irvin at the front was kind, helpful, and set the precedent for amazing service. The AC got cold, the room was more spacious than most, and it was very clean. The hotel is tucked in a cozy residential corner and is always a 15 minute walk or less from everything. My only critique is that the bed wasn’t super comfy. Other than that, great stay and would highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing time in Venice, the hotel staff were very helpful in guiding us how to get to the islands and the hotel was very clean and lovely. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, such a good size with lovely cosy furnishings and the breakfast was very decent.

The staff was exceptional. They recommended dinner options and made the reservation. They also gave me instructions for getting to the airport. Including the price and ferry departure and arrival times. The room was very fancy. I would stay there again.

It was a great location, friendly staff and a beautiful view of the canal. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful. Bed comfort was ok, but all the beds in Italy seem to be ok and not super comfortable. I still was able to get a decent night sleep and enjoyed the stay in Venice. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is nice, we were happy with the location and the kindness of the personnel, very available to address all our requests. The room was lovely, with nice paintings and a painted ceiling. Two things were not nice: 1) the air conditioner was loud. Since the temperature was ok, we preferred to turn it off, we did not really need it. But if someone stays there in the summer or in the winter they are going to hear an unpleasant background. 2) The bath tub is not great, while doing the shower the water splashes all over the place, no matter how careful we were. The floor was wet almost everywhere.
