THE ACCESS IS BY A FOREST TRACK: THE 4X4 VEHICLE ACCESS IS ESSENTIAL. If this type of vehicle is not available, it is necessary to park it about 800 meters or in the town (3.5 km) and transfers will be made, WITHOUT CHARGE, as many times as necessary.

El Refugio del Candanio is a typical stone cabin of the Pasiegos Valleys, which has been completely rehabilitated, respecting the ancient structures, as well as the materials traditionally used in the area (local stones, lastras, noble woods, etc.).
It has about 80m2, spread over 2 floors, with 3 units that can comfortably accommodate 6 people (maximum 8, paying a supplement per person and night). There is 1 place on the ground floor, for those with problems with the stairs. It has: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, wood stove heating (which comes in the price), hot water, washing machine, fridge freezer, TV, etc.
It is located on a three-hectare estate, in a privileged natural environment of the Eastern Mountain of Cantabria.
The town of Vega de Pas, is about 3.5 km. It has all the services: banks, restaurants, food and gift shops, doctor's office, etc.

ENTORNO INMEJORABLE, CASA CON MARGEN DE MEJORA
Antonio es encantador y te ayuda en todo momento. El espacio es sensacional y con un poquito de trabajo en la casa la experiencia sería magnífica. Combatir la humedad es fundamental y el olor a químicos (naftalina) no es recomendable. Sobran elementos decorativos y falta algun sillón confortable. No obstante estos pequeños detalles, el entorno es magnífico y merece la pena.

Le propriétaire Antonio est charmant et vraiment très accueillant. Le gîte est perdu dans la montagne, totalement isolé. C'est un logement idéal pour 2 -3 jours pour 4 personnes, au delà il est un peu rustique. Je le recommande pour l'endroit et la qualité d'accueil d'Antonio
