We have stayed at the Gomerino three years in a row. We like the location, accommodations and have always enjoyed our stay. This time the hotel was completely booked and it was often crowded for breakfast, on the rooftop and awaiting assistance with front desk. Which affected how much we enjoyed our stay. Some front desk personnel are still exceptional with others seemingly needing to be prompted for the service we have enjoyed in the past.

Fabulous hotel. Very central to most of Valletta’s sights. Very close to Merchant Street with its vast choice of restaurants shops and cafes. The classic twin room was traditional style, good size and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with rainfall shower over the bath. Breakfast was superb with a mix of buffet table with ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, cakes and pastries and fresh orange juice, and also an excellent menu for cooked breakfasts which was served to your table along with tea or coffee. The staff are great, very friendly, helpful and attentive. There’s also a bar and rooftop small pool. Valletta is a very walkable city, bear in mind some streets are pretty steep should you have any mobility problems. Lots of transport options, buses are cheap and regular. There’s a tourist train that goes around the city and Hop on Hop off buses too, and not forgetting boat trips around the harbour. We would highly recommend this hotel for a city break!

The Gomerino is an excellent hotel, situated just off the main street in Valletta, so perfect for getting everywhere. The staff could not be better or more attentive. Prakash who served us at breakfast even remembered what drinks we had each morning! Breakfast choices are very good along with the buffet. The rooms are a good size and spotless. The rooftop pool areas are excellent, with great views and we could always get a sunbed. Highly recommend a stay here.

This hotel is wonderful the staff are so helpful especially Alison who always had a smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble. When booking the room I would try and book one with a balcony as the other rooms do not have windows. It’s not a major issue as there is air conditioning. It’s central to all of Valletta and major attractions. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful

Valletta magic.
A well appointed hotel, terrific rooftop plunge pool with a great view, just minutes from all the sites and restaurants, yet very quiet. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Nice Boutique Hotel
Overall we had a very good stay. Pros - friendly staff, good breakfast, nicely furnished rooms (also very clean) and a beautiful rooftop space with an incredible view. Cons: very limited meal options. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was very good, but although there was a room service menu in the room, the receptionist told me that room service was not available. For lunch and dinner you have to find other options. There are lots of good restaurants in the area though, so it wasn't a big deal.

Great stay.
Really enjoyed my stay. Large comfortable room with good air con. Only downside was no outside window (opens onto interior courtyard) but that did mean it was quiet and it didn't really bother me. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Rooftop terrace and pool were pleasant although got a bit windy at times. Convenient location in Valletta. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast service was excellent, however service at the pool bar was non-existant. I called reception a number of times, only to be told the member of staff was on break & we just had to wait! As we left, the receptionist ignored us whilst serving another couple who were taking their time deciding a massage treatment. They even told her to serve us (to call a taxi to airport). Her response, i am serving you, they can wait. We walked out after waiting over 10 mins. Really poor considering she took 2 phone calls whilst serving them, but couldn't call us a cab!

This is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are lovely. The rooftop pool and bar has amazing views. Could use extra staff to man reception and the bar. Staff were extremely helpful though. Would recommend this hotel.

Probably the nicest hotel we have stopped in,the staff were excellent particularly the restaurant staff,couldnt do enough for you!! Everything about this hotel was excellent. If i had one small gripe,it would be the same old problem of towels on sunbeds,because it is a boutique hotel the roof top pool is small with 24 sun beds,people were putting towels on sunbeds then dissappearing for 2 or 3 hours at a time!!.
