This place is not what it used to be. The potential for it to be great again is still there, but it definitely needs some updating. The lobby and atrium are still beautiful though. Some plumbing issues in our first room, they immediately moved us to a different room (and actually upgraded us because of the inconvenience). All the staff were super friendly, helpful, and personable. They made it a point to make guests feel at home. Breakfast used to be beyond amazing with fresh fruit, made-to-order omelets, and other associated breakfast items, but now, well, it's hot and there's plenty of it. I would love to see this place come back to it's glory days. Wish i could give the staff 10 stars, but only 5 is allowed. Rooms are quite spacious.

There was a marijuana scent down the hallway of our room, 307. We notified the staff. The lobby was bright & welcoming. Check in was courteous. During the morning, we could hear others in the room nearby being “intimate” as either the ceiling/floors or walls are not sound enforced. We could hear the headboard banging and a female moaning. Thankfully, our check in adhered to our request to be away from an elevator to avoid elevation sounds during our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience in a dated hotel. It was a nice place to stay and everyone was very helpful. I do think it would be a good idea to get some USB outlets in the rooms, on a light or the phone. Otherwise we were extremely happy with our stay. Thank you
