Most disappointing to find our door ajar-unlocked when we came back to our room after being away all day. We figured the house keeping staff didn’t lock the door after they cleaned our room. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were unable to get on WIFI, there was no microwave in the room, no ice in the ice machine, vending machine on the second floor didn’t work and we didn’t have hot water during our second night stay…….cold shower! We were looking forward to the famous chocolate cookies but were completely disappointed as the cookies were hard and not tasty like we remembered from other stays at Double Tree hotels. We felt completely safe in the hotel parking lot but just down the block at the gas station and drugstore we were afraid to get out of our car to pump gas or walk into the drugstore as there were so many folks approaching us for money.

We had to change rooms 2 times, diet the door wasn’t working, second one smelled like a cigarette butt and sweat and finally we got a third one that was noisy, uncomfortable, but at least clean. People by the elevator were being so loud in the middle of the night that woke us up 2 times. Believe me, the staff was delightful (Maddy is a sweetheart) and did they best to accommodate us, and it’s not their fault at all.

Terrible experience. First room we checked into the Air conditioner was not working, so we switched to a different room. The 2nd room air conditioner also stopped working as well later that evening; since it was late night, they gave us a portable fan to help make the first night bearable. Next morning they sent a maintenance person who said "this is the best it will work, because of the humidity" (worst excuse I've ever heard in AZ), and they wouldn't switch us to another room. So we literally went to the store and bought a fan ourselves so we can have two fans to make it through the 2nd night. Then, second day the toilet didn't flush and started overflowing. Again, maintenance said it was 'fixed', but it wasn't and overnight we had to flush at 6-7 time each time using the restroom. This property is not even close to what you'd expect for a doubletree and should undergo heavy maintenance.

Great hotel
Was there for an event. Property was clean, all the staff I interacted with were pleasant. Only issue is that there aren't very many food choices in the immediate area if you don't have a car.

The clerk at the front desk (I think her name was Maddie) was very friendly and helpful. The fresh cookies during checkin were a nice touch. The exercise room was good for what my son and I needed for a quick workout. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I see a huge differences between Double Tree by Hilton in Europe for example in Prague, Czech Republic and Warsaw, Poland. In Europe the hotels are newer, more clean, better healthier food. In the U.S including this one looks like old , outdated and in this hotel in Tuscon with 2 broken ice machine including at the 5th floor in the main building and in my room with old barely working air conditioning Staaf was friendly though and outside pool was cool too.

The front desk staff were super nice and made check in super easy. Our room was very musty and hot. The beds are a little too hard for my comfort. The pool had a lot of bugs and leaves in it, as well as hair everywhere. Most likely would not stay here again.

I've been twice over the last month. It has been such an amazing stay and front desk staff is amazing. Saturday the 2 gentleman where amazing and 4th July weekend a young lady (blonde) was so sweet! I will definitely be back!
