Nice hotel in the heart of Ginza
Overall, a fairly good stay at the B Ginza. The rooms were fairly small as expected however, one thing to note was that the first floor and our bathroom smelled slightly like sewage. Amenities are placed on the first floor. Free coffees, lattes and pancakes as well. Complimentary beer for each guest / night was also offered.

Hotel B IMO is a “C”. Hotel is situated on a small street. Not the easiest to find. Once there the reception is on the second floor…not a single sign directing you to take the slow elevator to the second floor to check-in. I understand the check in is at 3. I was there at 1…absolutely no early check in’s. The staff was very stone faced, they seem scare of their guests. The check-in is basically self serve on a touch screen. All amenities are available but you have to collect them “weirdly” yourself. My stay was comfortable and restful. Breakfast was included as a paid option…I have been to many Japanese breakfast buffets, this I considered very average. The goods are its close approximation to the busiest part of Ginza and the resturant down the street was excellent.

Convenient place to stay
Convenient place to stay between the Ginza and Shimbashi stations. Staff speak English and although there were some problems, they did explain everything and resolved the issues politely and professionally.

While the location is convenient and the room was clean, the B Ginza hotel was sub par compared to other similar hotels in the area I’ve stayed at before. The staff was pleasant. But the breakfast is really the worst offering for any Japanese hotel I’ve ever experienced in 20 years of traveling to Japan. Less expensive hotels in the same area offer more robust quality breakfasts for the same price. Overall B Ginza is not worth the price if you can find similarly priced rooms at Remm, Sotetsu or Mitsubishi Garden, all within one block.

Perfect, front desk personal has to improve
The Hotel was clean, the breakfast was sufficient and the room was nice and quiet. Close the shops and dinning. Only one observation, the front desk personal was not to nice, not the best ones treating customers.

Good location for Ginza visit
The location of the hotel was good, which is closed to main places of Ginza. Entrance of the hotel, 1st floor, smells bad. Staffs are not kind nor fast. The bad in the twin room where I stayed was too narrow. No good view from room window. The only good thing about the room was bath room, roomy and good shower facility

We enjoyed staying in the area of Ginza and knew hotels in Tokyo would be small. This hotel the lobby is on the second floor. As you walked in on the main floor, there was a horrific stench and it permeated to the lobby. At check in the service person kept giving wrong confirmation of details and I would correct it only to find that consistently it was him just misreading or understanding. He made no apologies. Check in took extremely long because of this (for instance he kept staying 3 night stay, when we were staying for 4 nights. I then showed him my confirmation and then he stated see 3 nights… even though it was still 4. We had to count the days so he would understand. Then when talking again he said 3 night stay…) When we received our room the stench was replaced by an overwhelming smell of air freshener. The air freshener was so obnoxiously strong that it cause me and one of my family members to keep sneezing and the next day getting allergy medication to counter it. It made me highly concerned what happened to the hotel or room to use that much air freshener. It was so terrible, I asked what the penalty would be to check out early. The room itself was extremely small (as predicted) and very dated. The bathroom was smaller than a bathroom I’ve had on a cruise ship. Everything did work though. The pros of the hotel was you get some vouchers for drinks (juice or beer in the lobby) and you can have 2 small pancakes in the lobby in the morning.

Great, small boutique hotel. Room are very small but typical for Tokyo experience. Hotel style was modern with newly remodeled interior which made us feel great. Beds were very good and my family with kids slept well breakfast was included and welcome drink as well. Overall it was a great hotel for our short visit.
