Location is fantastic! As Muslim travellers, we chose this hotel because of the halal food nearby. Commuting is a breeze, lots of options around the hotel. 24 hours Don Quijote is a plus. So many places to explore in Asakusa itself, and very safe!

During my two-week trip to Japan, one of the most memorable stays was at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International. The experience was excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. Although the rooms were a bit smaller, this wasn’t an issue as we spent most of our time exploring. This quickly became our favorite place to stay, not only because of the amazing staff but also due to the abundance of nearby attractions. Restaurants, shops, and a temple were all within walking distance. A standout feature was the free water dispensers on each floor, which saved us from buying multiple bottles of water daily, as we had to at other hotels. Out of the six hotels we stayed in, this was definitely a favorite, and I highly recommend it.

Would highly recommend the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa for anyone wanting to stay where there are nearby attractions whilst feeling safe, clean and not totally overwhelming. All staff in the hotel are very helpful and speak great English. The breakfast was delicious with an offering of pastries and fruit, alongside some more traditional hot Japanese breakfast items - enough on offer for vegetarians, too. The reception team were lovely and can arrange a luggage forwarding service if you enquire, which I would highly recommend for those moving around the country. The hotel has great views of the cityscape and you can see a glimpse of Sensō-Ji Temple and the Tokyo Sky Tree area from both the lift and outside garden area. Good transport links to the Asakusa and Ginza lines making the rest of Tokyo very accessible.

A nice hotel with friendly staff who always offer you a professional service. This hotel is very close to Senjoji temple - no more than 5 min- walk. There are lot of shopping places and restaurants in this area, so you won’t be left bored or starving. Also, it’s easy for you to take metro to visit other places in Tokyo as well.

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Many amenities available for all guests. Secure access to the lifts to rooms. Ice cold water available on the floor of the rooms which was a huge bonus. English was available in every way we needed it available. Cleaning was scheduled using your TV which enabled you to request no cleaning/ eco cleaning and a full clean of your room, all of which could be requested up to 9am the same day, which is a fantastic service. Slept really well and had an amazing view looking over the skyline of Asakusa including a beautiful view of the shrines most people wouldn't be able to see.

Our stay here was fantastic. You can’t beat the location, a few minute walk to the Sensoji Temple and tons of food and shopping in every direction from the hotel. The staff was so kind and friendly. They provided so many amenities, such as, toothbrushes, face masks, wash clothes, etc. They even gave my toddler a bag with a kids toothbrush, slippers and a sponge for the bath. They have coffee all day, a happy hour with drinks twice a day and the best buffet breakfast! I would absolutely stay here again. I knew the room would be small and it was but it was still comfortable and clean. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Richmond hotel is somewhat new to the Asakusa area I was told. Room rates are reasonable and accommodations were comfortable. My room happened to have a nice view of the shrine and sky tower. I really enjoyed having a bath tub to relax in after a long day of walking around. In an effort to be eco friendly, they no longer provide free water bottles so I recommend bringing a water bottle you can fill at their water machine. I would be happy to stay here again for future visits to Tokyo.

This hotel is perfectly located for first time visitors within walking distance to historical sites as well as food options and shopping. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. As a coffee drinker I really appreciated that they offer complimentary coffee all day and also have a happy hour during the evenings. Our room was clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
