Staff was really nice/helpful. The breakfast that was included was really good. The hotel is a little run down. Rust in the shower and paint pealing off the walls. Bed was comfortable though.

It was perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was soft and comfortable, the coffee machine and water dispenser was a wonderful amenity. The room is small but I only had one luggage so it wasn’t too bad. I would recommend this place

Small room, bed is too soft--not comfortable. Windows are frosted, no view of outside--a little claustrophobic. Good location in Akasaka. Nice staff. Good breakfast. I won't stay here again because of the uncomfortable room.

Lack of attention to detail. Walls In the common areas and elevator had grease marks everywhere. Dust was on all of the surfaces. Housekeeping materials were constantly in the halls regardless of the hour. Air pressure causes issues in these rooms and one day it caused the room door to not close and latch after housekeeping went through and was left unlocked and openable for the entire day until we got back that night. After reporting this they made sure to latch it going forward, but something to watch out for. The shower is cheap and slightly dirty, small, and poorly designed. We experienced some really nice, tiled showers at other hotels and this one falls way short. Breakfast was decent, but it’s a set menu and having only six options gets really old after a full week. Room was fine otherwise, but compared to the other top notch Japanese hotels we stayed at, this was a let down.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Risveglio! This was a good hotel for the money - the room was on the small size but very functional. The room was clean, but not in perfect condition and amenities were the lowest of our stay in other Japenese hotels. Despite this, everything worked well and the location was fantastic for our stay in Tokyo.

I'm a return visitor to this hotel - Akasaka is a very convenient area for transit, and the hotel offers great value. Lots of walkable options for good food nearby as well. The rooms are small, but charming and comfortable - great design work here!

Compared to the other hotel I stayed in Tokyo for a similar price, this place was not as nearly as nice. I noticed some mold in the shower and scuffs on around the room. It just didn’t feel clean. Our in room refrigerator also did not work. However, the service and staff there were extremely helpful and kind.

Friendly staff, clean, good atmosphere, great breakfast available - choice of six cooked options including 2 'western' options. Bar opposite hotel is good for a relaxing drink. Plenty of eating options locally.

Beautiful hotel! Clean quiet comfortable property with amazingly comfortable beds and a fantastic bath! Loved our stay here - and Akasaka is such a nice neighborhood with lots of funky shops and restaurants

The hotel has easy access to/from train station. During the night there were lots of foot traffic near by. However since I was on the upper floors, noise was never an issue. The check in was easy and pleasant, they even let me check-in early. The stay was good and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, they offer 6 different styles to choose from, my favorite was the Japanese. Only minor complain was…on the web site photos. In the rooms are various “cool” art work on the walls. in my particular room, the art was sort of erased and only traces of it was left, not a big deal. Just hope you don’t get that one, because it makes the room looked bland. BTW, it was a singles room.
