Fairly good hotel but inconvenient place
I stayed in a smoking room so naturally the place stank a bit and was a good bit stained. But I think given that it was a smoking room it was clean enough. Bed frame was old though it had an FM radio built into it which was interesting. The real downside was the location as it wasn't close to any major (or minor) train stations.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. Our room had an amazing view of Tokyo Skytree and the skyline. The in room ventilation only had limited effect, so me careful during hot weather. But in Fall we were comfortable.

Old inn
I’m not sure anyone can call it a hotel. It’s just too old and dirty. We booked a non smoking room but when we got inside we immediately smelled smoke. You can tell that the beds were very old because of torn bed frames. The cabinets on the side were rusty and the bathroom was full of molds. We requested for extra pillows but the extra pillows were too thin. The only thing that looked new was the electric kettle.

You can tell most of the money goes to the front desk while the rooms are mediocre at best. Bathroom I'm a small broom closet, out of date torn apart floors, walls had stains and just needs a full update. Staff was very friendly, but that was the only thing. If you like an area away from touristy things it's nice, but otherwise you'll be doing a lot of traveling to get to places.

Good room size but run down hotel
Location of hotel is in between 2 stations. The walk is okay for adults, however for families with young children is not recommended to walk 500m with several small roads to cross. Room is large with good space to open 2 big luggages. Bed size is super single which is big in comparison to other hotels. However, beds are not firm, felt like the spring is worn out. The toilet seat cover for our room is missing. Will have to be really careful placing the towels just above the toilet bowl 🙄 The hotel needs a renovation for sure.

Great Value and location
Really enjoyed my time there. Even though I ended up with a smoking room when I booked, the room was still very clean and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was great. I would stay here again!

The staff were kind and helpful. My problem was with the way the hotel was listed, it was a smoking room and that was not easily seen on the booking site. Since neither my husband or I smoke, it marred the entire trip.
