I found this the best hotel I have stayed at in a while. It was quiet, clean and the staff were friendly and there were complimentary nibbles in my room for me along with 2 bottles of water in the fridge. The bed was also lovely and comfortable.

We have stayed in a few hotels in New Zealand in our life time and this rates as one of the best value for money stays we have had . It is modern clean and in the middle of the CBD with very secure parking in the hotel,vey clean and the staff very friendly . It was away from the hustle of the Mount ,but only a short drive to get there for a walk around . Great stay will be back again .

Room was nice and clean, modern. Check in guy/front desk was kinda arrogant. Offered my id at check in. He proceeded to tell me “in his country they trust people without id, “his” country is very safe. I don’t ask for id etc. Idk where all that came from…should have told him I grew up in “his” country and probably lived there longer than him!

Amazing in all ways. Large room, quiet and comfortable with couch and chairs, large accessible bathroom, kettle, toaster and fridge and cutlery and crockery. Great location in city centre. $10 parking that must be prebooked. All requests fulfilled.

The Hotel on Devonport is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL place to stay..we loved everything about it..the front desk lady was lovely and sorted our parking easy as..the under ground parking is super handy and very safe!! Walking into the hotel thru the carpark is really beautiful and it feels like an exclusive club!! Our room was SO nice..the bed was super comfy and the kitchenette area is so incredibly handy!! The complementary snacks were a sweet touch and obviously a lot of thought had gone into the little touches!! The bathroom is really big and i love the towels and how they are set out..and the seat in the shower is really great!! We had a view of the city not the sea but it was still a really lovely outlook..and i loved that its a short walk down to some really lovely looking restaurants and bars!! Unfortunately the Tauranga Club on the 5th floor wasnt open on the Monday night we were there so we missed out on that but happy hour looked great!! I would DEFINITELY stay at this beautiful hotel again next time we visit beautiful Tauranga!!
