Splendid Indeed.
Taormina is beautiful. This is a gem of a hotel. From the stunning views from the pool to the fantastic varied and tasty breakfast. The concierge staff were all so brilliant and happy to help. Will return to Taormina. And will definitely stay here again.

When I first arrived , the room was not OK. It was unusually small with other issues in the bathroom. good news is as soon as I told front desk they switched my room and even followed up to make sure all was good! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AWESOME BREAKFAST!

The rooms are very small, they have almost no room to place our luggage. The beds are very stiff and uncomfortable and you can hear everything from the outside. The location is good, it is very close to Corso Umberto and the cable car as well.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and gladly return to it. It was overall an excellent experience, I would like to note that the entire staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and always very pleasant. It has a fabulous shuttle and beach service the lido at Giardini Naxos.

I liked location and cleanness. I didn’t like that they didn’t have iron or steamer. I stayed in 9 hotels in 4 months and they all provided one or the other. Splendid said they don’t provide them due to safety reasons. A steamer is no danger. Also room 307 didn’t have not even one drawer for pj’s, t shirts, socks etc. Neither one of our reading night lights worked. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast awful load music for morning hours though.

Hotel and location excellent only downside no tea/coffee facilities in the room.The two young men and young woman on the Reception were excellent, very helpful, informative and friendly also the gentleman and young man around the pool friendly and helpful. The breakfast and restaurant waiters seemed unfriendly, no good morning/good evening or even a smile, same with other management staff.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Splendid, with wonderful views of the sea. Staff were all helpful and professional. It is in a great location, away from the main hassle and bustling tourist crowds, but with easy access to all the sights. Also, on the Expedia website it states there is no lift at this hotel, this is wrong. There are 2 lifts all the way up to the 5th floor! This was very much welcomed as we were staying on tge 4th floor.
