Homely, vintage with modern bathroom restoration. The waterfall shower amazing. TV channels, Internet, Keno and racing coverage. I'll be back next year for school reunion accommodation.
I loved the room is very spacious, and very clean good service nice food and our 3 free drink vouchers the only downfall is no elevator we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs 😌 and it's on the main road but very busy. We only spent two nights but overall it was very good experienced and we had a good time on our stay.

Unfortunately, the bed had bed-bugs. Horrible itchiness afterwords. The steak was dry as a shoe-sole, chips were cold and seemingly just re-heated. Fantastic pepper sauce though.
Very disappointed as I had been many times back in time with my wife and meal was always absolutely great! Was not the same now. The waitress and waiter at dinner time, absolutely on their best! Kudos to them.
Nice room but was noisy - didn’t notice the provided ear plugs until the next morning.
Room had lots of outlets and a large bathroom. No elevator so had to carry suitcase up stairs. Had food from downstairs which was good.
Ive been there before and it meets my needs very well. Also, thank you for puting the the dining room chair in my room to support my back - much appreciated.
Great location, rooms have been fully renovated and new bathrooms were great wouldn’t have thought you were at a pub. Staff super friendly and helpful. Have already recommended to others and will definitely stay again.
