Parking was not secure as gates broken so anybody could access rooms. No extra lock on door. Building is old and feels unclean and dated Awake all night due to what sounded like a hammer banging all night

Rooms are going through maintenance and is needed. My room had the internet connection hanging out of the wall and one curtain was off the rails. I was not able to fully close the curtains which was annoying. Location was central to where i needed to be though it was a bit tricky to find at first.

The room was clean enough, although the kitchen water pressure was pretty much NIL, the shower fawcett was broken and came off, the air conditioning unit filthy, therefore a heap of dirt/dust came out when in use, the bathroom liquids were empty (Soap, shampoo, body wash etc). The lift is the slowest I have ever used in a hotel. No dishwashing tablets/detergent available. All curtains were broken. Overwhelming smell of Indian spices throughout the hotel. Parking was great.

The room was dirty. There were marks all over the walls, they had a fabric chair with stains all over it, it says it has a patio or balcony but it had neither. I was really disappointed. My room had an extra door that was locked which was abit of a worry as i didnt have access to it unsure what is behind it. Positive thing is the lady at the front desk is very welcoming and lovely.

I booked a three-bedroom apartment at Mantra Castle Hill Sydney on 24/07/2025 for a stay on 15/11/2025 for 2 adults and 4 small children. Upon arrival, we were informed that the room we booked was unavailable. We were offered two separate apartments, one with two bedrooms and the other with one bedroom. This arrangement was completely unsuitable for our family and there was no prior communication regarding the change. Despite staff repeatedly apologizing and offering a refund, the options provided were impractical with only 2 hours before we needed to attend pre-booked entertainment. Upon inspecting the apartment, we found serious hygiene and safety issues: Cockroaches in the fridge, toaster, cutlery drawer, and cupboards. Limited cutlery, plates, and bowls for 6 people. Main shower and bath were unusable due to a broken bath tap, with water leaking dangerously. A glass shower door in the ensuite fell on my 6-year-old son, causing a head injury. All wet rooms had significant mould. The balcony was unusable due to a hornets’ nest, posing a risk of stings. This stay was unsafe and completely unsuitable for a family with young children. The condition of the apartment and lack of prior communication were unacceptable. I cannot recommend this property to anyone, particularly families.

Wouldn't stay there again!! Staff were pleasant but very disorganised. Room 3 out of 10 for clean. We got locked out of our room (key would not engage) twice. we went out arrived home at 11.30 couldn't get in AGAIN had to get someone out of bed to let us in. Position awful tradie entrance through industrial estate at rear.

Dirty carpets, the mouldy curtains aren’t big enough to cover the windows fully. There was no hand/body wash in the dispensers either in the shower or above the hand basin. The lid of the bin in the room didn’t open.

Checkin took 45 minutes, as rooms were not cleaned and ready for guests. There were about eight people in the check-in desk with complaints about the rooms. Our room hadn't been vacuumed and the bathroom had blood in the shower and the sink.

Booked last minute. A couple of issues around the reservation but the receptionist was great. First room we were given had German cockroaches running over the sink so we were moved to a second room. Seemed ok in the dark but woke up this morning to an unclean room. Not clean, floors not vacuumed, shower head and stall in need of attention, grubby, worn out furniture. I wasn’t expecting a lot but the basics weren’t covered. Left room to return to the car to find it covered in bird poo as nests of birds are living in the car park. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Floor and room stank of smoke. Bathroom dirty. Kitchen sticky. Plates and mugs were so stick, they stuck to the shelf in the cupboard. Generally run down. Accor have let standards slip. They are all issues that are management reaponsibilities. Zero attention to detail.

I will say the staff are polite and friendly. This property is aimed at tradies and similar who are working away from home for the week. It is in need of complete renovation - it is life expired. I had to refuse the first room allocated to me because it was dirty in the kitchenette, bathroom and the main living space. It hadn't even been vacuumed. The rooms facing the industrial estate are prone to early morning noise - garbage trucks coming and going and the like. You stay here because you need to be in the area for work or family, but not really for any other reason. There are other similar options within 1-2km of this property. I'd suggest checking them out unless they drop the price on this one.
