Happy with what I paid for
The taxi driver had difficulty in finding the hotel, the location differed from the vehicle GPS. I walked back and eventuality found it via the main entrance The staff member was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean for my liking, however some might say the walls could do with a wash down in parts. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The $12.00 breakfast was value for money. It was far better than many other budget type accommodation.

The hotel was hard to find on the Main Street and we had to ask twice where the parking was as we were told wrong directions, twice. The room had a weird smell and the photos of the room on the website were different to the actual room. We couldn’t shower as the bathroom was so small for a shower, toilet and basin. The only thing that was positive was the location.

Even earplugs didn’t let me get any sleep due to the incredibly noisy road out the front. Cars roaring past all night. The place felt like it was made out of cardboard given the noise levels. Will not be staying here again. Don’t do it to yourself!

We were in the city for one night only. Unfortunately, the room did not match the photos, it felt quite small, as did the bathroom. I noticed some dirt in the air conditioning unit, so I chose not to turn it on. I also had to move my bed away from the window and air conditioning due to concerns about dirt and street noise. I could hear traffic from outside, and other guests were quite loud in the hallway. I understand this is a budget hotel, but my experience didn’t match the photos or description. Additionally, there were no bedside lamps, and the table lamp was not functioning. The bed was too soft, and I woke up with back pain the next day. We’ll likely choose to spend extra for a better experience next time.
