We added a 3rd day to our stay. The location just a bit east of Sutri is ideal for visiting Etruscan sites, though Google Maps complicated our arrival, suggesting we needed to drive kilometers past the hotel and then approach from the east. We stayed for the great service but encourage anyone who wants to discover a beautiful, less visited part of Italy to enjoy this area and all it offers making this comfortable property your base. And do yourself another favor by eating dinner at the hotel at least one night.

We stayed three nights in Antico Borgo on our way south from the Cinque Terre to Rome. We just canceled a different hotel to return to Antico Borgo on our trip north. Can't find enough kind words to thank the staff for their attentiveness, including going above and beyond to help us with the laundry that accumulated as we came south. The food from the Bistro was the best we had so far, surpassing another restaurant with Michelin credentials--the food was delicious but the price was much less than we've spentfor most meals. Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly housekeeping. Drinks on the patio at dusk is a must!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel upon our arrival to Rome. It's about 1 hour drive from the airport and is a good central point to visit many attractions in Lazio. Property is surrounded by well maintained and beautiful gardens and trees, very quite with plenty of free parking. Nice option to use a base station to visit beautiful nearby towns such as Toscania, Viterbo, Orvieto, Trevignano (on Lago Bracciano), etc. Front desk is always ready to help you on anything you need. Rooms, although a bit small, are clean and modern design. Restaurant is a great option and offers gourmet meals with a good selection of wines. We highly recommend this place if you want a quite place, away from noisy towns and with easy access to surrounding areas.

Amazing property and rooms! Really top notch. Only complaint is that our air conditioner was on a timer and turned off every hour, making sleeping difficult. We told the staff and they fixed it right away.

Wonderful!
This was a beautiful hotel, surrounded by wonderful views and close to historic sites, with very friendly and accommodating staff. My wife and I asked to purchase a bottle of wine for a late afternoon glass to relax from a day of travel. The staff not only got us the bottle of wine, but they opened up the restaurant, started a fire in the fireplace in the nearby seating area, included some snacks and allowed us to enjoy the setting all by ourselves! The hotel itself will be a reason to return.

Their hospitality is beyond imagination! This hotel is surrounded by beatiful landscaping. Their breakfast is an outstanding buffet type with all sorts of choices. Love it and would go again and again

Very modern hotel - name ‘antico borgo’ leads you to believe it’s an old characterful hotel. It isnt, it’s very modern but it’s very comfortable, has a swimming pol in a large garden

We love this place!!!Our stop over at Il Borgo di Sutri was superb... From the friendly staff to the clean the rooms. If you want a place to relax,this is the place to be. Everything was perfect! The balcony view was amazing. Also a perfect spot to have hold event such as a wedding. The food and service was amazing and unbelievable! To say 5 star is actually insulting. My wife became very ill on our trip in Italy, we had booked to stay here earlier on in the trip. We couldn’t make it to our reservation as the wife had to become hospitalised. Made contact with the hotel to cancel our booking and couldn’t offer us a refund only some sort of Expedia credit. Still have t seen the Expedia credit and hotel stopped replying to my emails. Would not recommend at all

Nice hotel and great service
The room was clean and the service was excellent. They set up buffet breakfast daily at 7 am but we had to leave at 6:30 am for the airport so they set up breakfast for us at 6 am, one hour earlier than their regular time.

This hotel is fantastic and was a perfect stop for us while walking the Via Francigena. It has beautiful views to the rear of the property across the fields and hills which we enjoyed from our balcony. The staff were exceptionally kind and went out of the way to assist us. In the morning they even walked out with us to show us the way back onto the Via Francigena through fields alongside a river to avoid the road. All in all it was a highlight of our trip! Thank you.
