Nothing to do with the hotel but more on the other guests, then again it’s New Year’s Eve. The staff are great though… I will be booking this hotel again!

overall staying is good—larger room with microwave, coffee maker, and hygiene products. the hotel is pet-friendly, with a pool. If i had to name anything needs improvement which would be breakfast. We were told that kitchen was closed due to holiday staffing issue. breakfast was milk, coffee, bread, bagel and cereal, no hot food.

The bed needs to be replaced. I was worried about the cleanliness of the bed and the possibility of picking up bugs. No spare toilet papers and toiletries was not enough.

I paid through a third party and was told at the counter there was a $25 pet charge. This I was unaware of as other third party bookings I have done with a dog this has been up front on the booking and was not this time. This immediately left a bad taste in my mouth. Secondly, after a 15 hour drive I had to return to my vehicle in the parking lot to put a sticker in the window when all I wanted was to go to sleep. Zero understanding at the front counter of how ridiculous it was that I was doing their job after I already gave them my liscence plate number. Lazy useless front staff at this motel. I stay at many motels across the US and Canada and this is the first time I have witnessed such arrogance and incompetence within such a short period of time. When I got into my pet friendly room the one double bed was crooked like it had just been rented for a short visit. I do not recommend this facility. For clarification I book through third party methods so I do not have to deal with incompetent people at central booking agencies who somehow make the process more difficult than any app I have ever used. Stay at a local mom and pop motel at least you will get some decent service.
