Nice unique place to stay.
It was a nice place to stay. The only problem (not problem) was that the bathroom had some water standing in it and the carpet was damp. Apparently the hotel had just completed a deep clean and shampooed the carpet, so some remnants remained. They brought up some extra towels so we cleaned up the bathroom floor and laid a towel on the carpet.

The breakfast food was delicious! Would stay again and the price was very reasonable! We did report to the front desk that our heating and cooling system was producing too much condensation and the carpet was damp in front of it, causing a musty smell. I won’t hold that against them, as things break down unexpectedly. Hopefully it’s fixed and cleaned properly for the next guests.

The room was small and crowded for two queen size beds. The room and bathroom were clean. We could hear the TV and people talking in the room next to us. The indoor pool was nice. The dining room was spacious and clean. The breakfast food was well prepared and plentiful.

The staff is very accommodating and rooms very clean. We were surprised at how small the rooms were and how small the lodge is. The layout of the lodge is not convenient. The breakfast was good, once you could find the dining room.

The facility is tied to Bass Pro Shops and you might think it would be a fantastic place to stay, but as soon as you leave the lobby you're in a regular Motel 6 situation. No bottled water every day even though you pay almost $150-$200 per night. Our toilet overflowed and we were handed a plunger to take care of it ourselves. We had to use our towels to keep the soiled water from getting into our room and then didn't get new towels until the next afternoon. There are WAY better options out there.
