Convenient and comfortable small hotel.

Check in was excellent. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Room was good but the bathroom was a weird design. Breakfast was ok. Service was good and very friendly. Hotel was well situated. Plenty of parking behind but you have to navigate some one way streets. You can walk into town in about 15 minutes downhill. 20 minutes back up.

We found what we were looking for. A safe ,quiet overnight stop. secure parking was good at 6 euros per night across the road fro hotel.

Buena experiencia. Aunque parezca que el hotel está alejado, está únicamente a 10mins andando del centro, perfecto para un viaje de fin de semana.

Nice hotel not too far from the center. Small room with a double bed. Easy to park the car on the street behind the hotel for free.

The hotel needs upgrading. It is far away from everything, it is old, small and too expensive for the service. The breakfast was poor as well.

Surprising Soria

Having never been to Soria before I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. Whilst it is quite understated, the high standards of the room facilities and the excellent buffet breakfast make this a perfect choice if you're in this part of Spain eith for business or pleasure

Ciudad de Soria - convenient to bus station

Booked Ciudad de Soria first for my daughter arriving by bus at 10pm in Soria last September. Main reason at the time was to get something close to the bus station at that time of night. Ciudad de Soria was the perfect choice for that. When visiting her later in the year, she recommended the hotel to us. The convenience to the bus station is a definite selling point. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was functional and clean. Possibly somewhat small. Bed consisted of two single beds moved together. Would have preferred a double bed. Bathroom was large, modern and spotless. We found the room too hot at night and had problems turning down the thermostat. Location of Hotel is 1 - 2 minutes walk from bus station and approx. 10 - 15 minutes walk from city centre. For part of the walk to the city centre you can walk through a beautiful park, but the area surrounding the hotel is not very scenic. There is a lovely little green area with benches behind the hotel and a nice outside seating area beside the hotel. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, catering for a variety of tastes. Staff very attentive. I cannot comment on dinner as we did not have dinner at the hotel. Overall the hotel was good value for money. I would stay there again and would recommend it for convenience and cleanliness and overall cordiality of the staff.

Muy sencillo pero totalmente correcto para una corta estancia. No hay personal en el hotel, el check in se realiza de forma telemática.

El trato en recepción excelente. Su situación no es céntrica pero puedes ir andando a cualquier sitio. Aparcamiento sin problemas en el exterior. Instalaciones correctas y limpias.

La habitación que nos asignaron fue "Estandar con terraza", aunque en Expedia habiamos seleccionado "Habitación Superior". Entendemos que fue un error en el nombre que le puso Expedia a la habitación; en nuestro caso de saber que la diferencia estaba en la terraza (que no lo ponia en ningún sitio) no habriamos seleccionado esta habitación más cara. La habitación, aunque en planta baja, de un muy buen tamaño; lo mismo con el baño. No hemos echado nada en falta. De hecho el baño tiene un gran espejo que se agradece muchísimo. También hemos de indicar que tiene una buena iluminación, algo de lo que adolecen muchos hoteles de calidad superior. De cara a mejorar, estaría muy bien tener mas cantidad de enchufes disponibles. No podemos decir lo msimo de la terraza (que no necesitábamos), pues a pesar de ser muy grande y un mobiliario adecuado para dos personas, no creemos que estuviera en buen estado. Muy sucia y con un gran tubo sucio y suelto en mitad del suelo que daba un poco de asco. La limpieza debemos decir que bastante bien. No obstante, hemos notado un problema que queremos recalcar y es el de las hormigas. Nos dimos cuenta en el restaurante por la noche mientras cenábamos que el suelo estaba "plagado" de hormigas. Al volver a la habitación vimos que en el suelo del baño también había. Y por la mañana, las hemos visto rodeando la máquina del café. Sin duda es algo que deben revisar. El personal es agradable, tanto el de recepción, como el de restaurante.
