Property looks like it has not been updated in over 50 years. The hallway carpet is very dirty, old and looks disgusting. We checked in at 2 am and there was no hot water. We stayed for 2 nights and this is the second Furama brand hotel we stayed and I will never stay in this hotel brand ever again.

We were there for 2 nights in early January 2025, the hotel is a bit old and out-of-date, even though the room is bigger than the new ones, however: 1. There are only three electrical outlets - 2 behind the TV for your electronic devices (not easy for accessible), no outlets by the bedsides, another one is by the entrance - maybe just for night light (remember to bring your own night light), 2. Lack of maintenance, the bathroom basin sink is clogging, it should be cleaned up regularly, 3. The shower faucet is old, not a temperature balance shower valve, therefore shower water is either too hot or too cold, be patient for the adjustment and control, 4. The only advantage of the hotel is the location - close to Chinatown and Clark Quay.

The location was very near the MRT so it was very easy and convenient to go around Singapore. However, the hotel was dated and it was so easy to tell because of the smell.

Poor Quality hotel in Great Location
Appealing looking hotel from the street but once inside it’s in original condition. Carpet on corridor on multiple floors was lifting in places and is a safety hazzard. Bed was comfortable pillows terrible. Can’t understand how they keep their 4 star rating. 3 star at best. On positive note the hotels location is fantastic close to Chinatown MRT and within easy walking distance to Clarke Quay & Boat Quay. Would be happy to stay there again IF the hotel undertook major renovations.

Great location, close to shopping and dinning, however the room was far from Executive. The carpet and furniture are very old with a smell and the walls need new paint desperately. Unfortunately, the room was by the elevator which made the experience not a great one.

Great location, a short walk to Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Chinatown. Staff were very helpful. Executive room comes with lots of perks; worth the extra cost. Rooms were need and tidy. We have been to Singapore a few times and this was the best overall experience.

The location was excellent, so close to Chinatown and the MRT station. Dining and shopping options were great, so many to choose from. Although the hotel is a tad dated and old, the bed and pillows were fantastic as both my husband and I had 4 nights of very good sleep when we stayed there. The AC was very powerful too, which was a huge relief from the outside heat and humidity. Will definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Singapore. Thanks Furama City Centre!

やっぱりチャイナタウン周辺は便利だった。レストラン多いしコンビニも多いし交通の便も良い。マリーナエリアとかにしなくて良かったと思う。利便性はチャイナタウンのほうが高い。 建物は少し古さを感じたけど客室は綺麗だったしシーツも清潔だった。 シャワーの温度が安定しなかった。洗濯機と乾燥機があったのは良かったが一台しかなく、時間帯によってはかなり待たされた。

Would have been a nice stay except aircon was not working properly first couple nights. Hot water takes over 10 mins to come when showering with all taps turned on. Room service only comes every 3/4 day. Tried getting room service area except no one picks up front desk calls and when you go to front desk they ask you to call. when you try get new towels after asking for room service they said why not wait till room service. Little flys also roam the toilets and generally kids complained something bitting them. I personally didn’t feel any bites but I did see many flys. All in all location is great but the rest of areas have some catching up to do.
