Lovely apartment with a kitchen. Only concern was noise from a neighbor at night, who seemed to be dragging furniture around. Walkable to all the sights and shopping in town.

There is no one to check you in. Keys are kept in lock boxes. The Management lets you know the lock box code via email. The rooms are next to the main street. Have to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The cruise ship dock is literally in front of the guest house.

Perfect location, easy check-in, super clean
Overall the place is nice and the location is superb! There is a kitchen with pots, pans, and other things you'll need to cook meals. The only negative point was the stovetop, it was very hard to turn on and it goes from "not heating at all" to "super hot that will ruin your food" in a split second. Other than the stovetop, the place is really good. I do recommend you wear earplugs while sleeping because you do hear the other guests, especially when they're in the kitchen at 6 AM.

Great stay in a lovely town. Only recommendation would be to have a few more hooks for hanging things and a couple suitcase stands. Friendly staff. Great pizza next door at the filling station.

The apartment was very spacious. Excellent facilities, kitchen, fridge, microwave, etc. The living room has an exit sign which is bright and there is a bed in the room and so it’s in your face when you sleep. No laundry. The curtains will not block out the light and in summer with 24 light it’s a bit hard. Take your eye light blockers with you if you want to sleep.

We stayed one night in a double twin room. Very quiet rooms with blackout curtains. It’s conveniently located and you can walk to the harbor and cute rainbow street in less than 5 minutes. Bakery/Diner located next door that we used for breakfast. Very quiet rooms.

Stay was short, but great. Room was clean and bigger than expected - enough to be able to have luggage and actually walk about, which isn't as common as I'd like in Iceland. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Magnificent tea in the shared kitchen.

Great for our visit
Room was clean and comfortable. Walkable distance into the cute downtown and a nearby waterfall. The building outside is not much to look at. They had tea and coffee available.
