Very central to restaurants, sights and bars.

The Rey Don Pedro is ideally situated in the central Santa Cruz area of Seville. This location is 2nd to none for those wishing to be in the heart of the tourism area and yet the rooms managed to offer and escape from the noise of the bars. We were there during the 3 kings celebrations and the room rates were somewhat steep for the standard being offered however I'm sure the rates would not be so expensive off peak. We found the premises to be spotlessly clean and we'll run with daily room service and good reception communication via a text/Whatsapp from the parent hotel "the Rey del Moro" some 150meters away. We did have a problem with a leaking shower cubicle which appeared to be an ongoing issue due to surrounding moisture damage to wooden architraves and a sticking bathroom door. We alerted the reception and the problem was dealt with instantly but was not 100% rectified as it would have necessitated us vacating the room for such major work. On reflection I feel given the problem was obviously an old issue that perhaps work should have been carried out fully before letting the room and risking a guest falling on wet tiles due to the leaking shower cubicle, this however is a decision for management and an unfortunate oversight on their part. Other than this issue service was faultless with fresh towels and bottled water in our small fridge daily. Verdict is out whether we would return to the Rey don Pedro or not, but as other reviews will testify it's pretty good.

If you try traveling with a car parking is challenging. You’ll have to park in a public parking and walk or take a taxi to the hotel. There is no Direct contact with the hotel i.e. on a face-to-face basis, but they were extremely efficient with texting and messaging. Room was nice and generous and overlooked the most beautiful courtyard full of oranges. The hotel was beautifully located and very comfortable. It would’ve helped they had more pillows, but that’s a minor issue room was excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay

The house is a bit separate from the main hotel which we actually really liked. Big room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. The main hotel offers welcome drinks and Jacuzzi access on their rooftop patio with views of the Giralda. It was very conveniently placed where we could pop in throughout the day, easy walking, close to bus and car can drive to for taxi.

Incredible place to stay with a great location. Easy access with code and key card. Air conditioning worked great and the room had such awesome design choices. Very close to everything we wanted to walk and go see while in Sevilla. Highly recommend.

Loved the decoration!! Very convenient and accessible except the Uber driver said that their policy doesn’t allow them to pick up from the door. They amenities felt like luxury. A bit noisy due to the street.

The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. We struggled with the aircon on the first night but once the controls were understood we got it right. The balcony with open air windows and a view over the square was peaceful and a lovely way to spend a few hours of down time between sight seeing. A few small points - the room is a bit cluttered with vases and ornaments that we put out of the way to get some flat surfaces and there isn’t really that much room in the bedroom area to put suitcases. Also, the bathroom is open to the bedroom ( the toilet is separated) but when neeeding to use the toilet overnight the light would light the whole bedroom. The automatic closing blind is great for a dark room and the night was very quiet. There is currently some building works going on across the square but unless you want to sleep during the day it was not a problem- I would stay here again and get the same room with a view!!

The check in was awkward. There were no directions to location provided which was in a very busy and complicated roadway. There was no one available to speak with at check in. Had to find a number and call to notify we were there. Service was abrupt. Shower was very small and leaked and there were ants in the bathroom. Was locked out early prior to checking out since codes changed prior to check out time and had to call again to have someone let us back in to get our bag. Again, communication was abrupt. The location was nice and the lobby area with coffee was also nice.

Rey Don Pedro hotel in Old Town Seville is comfortable, clean and in a perfect location just inside old town which puts you close to all the major attractions and eateries saving miles of walking, plus the area is full of charm and ambience with a cluster of orange trees just outside in the square. We couldn’t have been happier with the location and hotel. There was a small fridge, and a small table with chairs in our room which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sister hotel El Rey Moro had bicycles we could use to visit areas outside of old town. There’s a nice path by the river and also in the vast gardens north of old town. Cobblestones are everywhere so it’s not a smooth ride, but easier on the feet. It may be worth renting bikes with shocks if you can find them.
