Loved starting here! The hotel was high end and very clean. It is located right on the water. The pool chairs overlook the pool and ocean. There is a burger/pizza type restaurant and bar that also overlooks the ocean. The hotel provides towels, sunscreen, snorkel equipment, go pro usage, bicycles, paddleboards and kayaks free of charge. There is great service at the pool (they set up towels on your chair & adjust umbrellas for you and also have poolside drink and food service) and there is Caribbean music playing. There were also lots of fun free events (s’mores, ice cream, wine tasting, sip & paint, etc).
The hotel is right on the water & there are beautiful sunsets. There is no beach, but there are stairs into the water for swimming or snorkeling and there are ‘sea hammocks’ if you want to float in the water. We thought we would miss the beach, but didn’t at all. We spent a lot of our trip snorkeling and scuba diving, so we enjoyed laying by the pool in the afternoons.
The rooms were very clean & maid service was excellent. The rooms have mini-fridges, but no microwave.
The hotel has good (but expensive) food and is walkable to a few decent restaurants. There is free parking a well. It’s an easy drive to beaches where you can lounge, snorkel, scuba or swim with turtles. I believe there is also a free shuttle to seven mile beach.
It’s a little pricey for drinks & food, but we loved our stay here!!!
