Great location and sweet space to relax
Love this property located in a favorite area backing up to easy walking/hiking which is the main reason for our choice. This was my 11th visit to Sedona so I prefer hiking not sightseeing. I love being close to town and mainly go for food. Lots of trails and close to Red Rock State Park and Crescent Moon Ranch. Phone service was frustrating until we were told to use CELLULAR Setting: "Wi-fi calling" & there is a landline. This might be a challenge if I was working. We would definitely visit this property again.Weather in March can be chilly. Space heaters & the gas fireplace were needed. The wood burner we did not use. Kitchen was well equipped and loved the living area. Beds were comfy and bedrooms quiet. Good selection of CDs to play and TV was great. Washer/dryers were needed for hot days requiring laundry. Property is well-maintained and gave 4 stars because it is a bit dated, with jagged flagstone on entry front steps, (a bit dangerous), as well as the drop off on porch edge. Someone could tip over if they are not careful. Metal porch furniture cold use some attention. A bathroom sink stopper would not open well. Unfortunately the Community Well Pump broke which was a hassle, 76 homes with no water for 2 days. Foothills Property Management responded, Donna was amazing sending 5 gal. buckets of water & 3 cases drinking water. Living 38 years on a Community Well, I understand those issues and although seasoned campers it was definitely a hassle for our final 2 days.
