Quaint Lil Spot
Great location outside of downtown. The house was spacious, clean and very close to the water. We used the private pool every day after the beach and it was so refreshing. Great restaurant and bakery close by. Highly recommend to anyone who does not want to be in the busy part of downtown.

Our Aruba adventure
This place was awesome .Property owners Ronny and Mayel were very nice and helpful . Location was great and as advertised and very clean. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax away from the busy crowds in Aruba.

Wonderful Stay :)
We had a wonderful stay at Savaneta Beach House. Sitting out back listening to the waves and watching the gorgeous sunsets were our favourite things to do. We also spent lots of time swimming in both the ocean and pool. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the beach chairs and coolers were perfect for our days out. Mangel Halto is only minutes away and was one of our favourite beaches on the island. The location provided a great base for site seeing around the island, only 15-20 minutes from Baby Beach, Arikok National Park, the rock formations etc. Numerous restaurants and a few grocery stores only minutes away. Mayel & Ronny were great hosts, very responsive and always happy to help with any questions.

This is a great location away from the hotel areas! Close to Zeerovers and Old Man & the Sea. The property itself is beautiful. There are balconies overlooking both the pool and beach and 4 air conditioners, one in each sleeping area and one in the living area. The full kitchen is stocked with dishes, a blender, and a set of spices which was so nice. The water outside was perfect. If you walk to the next building on the right, there is an easy entrance into the water. The water is protected so the waves and current are both very gentle. My family saw lobster and a small barracuda snorkeling! The drive up to the high rise area was maybe just under 30 mins. You will be 4 minutes drive away from Mangel Halto where we snuck in a kayak tour to a beautiful reef on our last day. The hosts were very responsive to any questions or issues that came up. We used the living room ac in the morning/evening and all 3 others all night and were not charged extra for electric. We also used the grill, stovetop, dishwasher, and washing machine with no issues. The only "problem" we ran into was not being able to log into Netflix on the TV LOL. But we floated in the ocean outside with drinks instead :).

We’ll be back!
Mayel and Ronny were superb hosts, so kind and responsive. The condo was the perfect location and the pool was nice when the sea waves were high. The unit was outfitted with everything you might need and was very clean. We are leaving here so rested and with many good memories. We are already talking about a return visit: this definitely bears repeating!!

Perfect for a stay in Aruba away from the tourist areas. There is a small private beach with a short drive to a much larger public beach. The private pool is great for mid day and evening swims.

Best Aruba trip
My daughter, and I with a friend from Great Britain stayed at this property. This is a beautiful property! It has all the amenities you need! It is in a nice quiet neighborhood sitting right on the beach. The beautiful Caribbean sea is 20 feet out the back door and then there is a nice private swimming pool right outside the front door. It is on the southerly side of the island so you will need to have a vehicle to get around unless you want to pay for taxis all the time, which would be more expensive than renting your own vehicle. (I suggest renting a jeep so you can take in all parts of the island and not just the paved parts.) The owners (Mayel and Ronnie) of the property came and greeted us, showed us around and even recommended some places to try. They were easy to reach anytime we had questions and responded very quickly. I will definitely stay at this location again.

A gem on the ocean
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Savaneta. The location is very convenient as well as lovely. Good restaurants in the water are nearby. Grocery stores are also close - even walking distance to a supermarket. The comfortable and spacious apartment is at the end of a small complex. There is plenty of privacy considering that beaches are public. There is some pedestrian traffic on the small stretch of sand but usually just a few neighbors walking by to enjoy the easier water access in front of the houses next door. We enjoyed speaking to a few friendly neighbors but it is easy to have as much privacy as you want. A treasure of a place!

A quiet slice of heaven
My traveling companion (a seasoned "beach connoisseur") and I were looking for a true island experience, away from the noise and bustle of tourists, hotels, and casinos. This beautiful and well-appointed home is quite literally 3 footsteps in the sand from the ocean. A private beach, a covered veranda, and a private pool. All surrounded by privacy walls. Quiet, warm, breezy, and yet still ten minutes by car to shopping, fabulous restaurants, casinos, and any other activity you might want to explore. I cannot recommend this property enough--it was a gem of a find. It includes all modern amenities--air conditioning, clothes and dish washer, wifi, cable TV--but the best part I think was falling asleep listening to the crash of waves that you can hear through the balcony doors off the master bedroom. We spent many an evening on that upper balcony with a glass of wine watching diving pelicans and gorgeous sunsets. The hosts are absolutely lovely and responded quickly to all of our questions through the VRBO app, and they were quick to offer recommendations for authentic island activities and instructions how to get there. Mayel in particular was kind and patient with some of our timing issues due to traveling during the height of covid. When it was time to leave, we felt we were saying goodbye to old friends. We will most certainly return.

Beautiful spot in paradise!
We loved our stay in Savaneta. The views from the house are even prettier in person! It’s close to restaurants like Flying Fishbone, Zeerover, and Marina Pirata, and an easy drive to our favorite beach- Baby Beach. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions and addressed all our needs. We already rebooked for next year!!

Nice, Quiet town home with a beautiful view
We really enjoyed our stay in Mayel's townhome! It was just feet away from the sea that had such a relaxing color to it. The house had just about anything we could ask for. Mayel was great with communicating before and during our trip. We had a slight issue with a water leak, but that didn't happen until the end of our trip and really didn't disrupt anything so it wasn't really an issue for us at all. I'd say that if you want to be immersed in the part of the island where the locals live, away from the busy resort area, this place is for you. We enjoyed the quiet and lack of crowds. The drive to the busy tourist areas were never long...it's just not that big of an island. We would absolutely stay again, should we make it to Aruba in the future!

We loved our time at Mayel’s home. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need.House was very clean. Mayel and her husband were very kind and answered even the dumbest questions.But the outside of this home was amazing. The views were breathtaking,from watching the pelicans dive for fish,the beautiful water,the little crabs on the beach. Best vacation ever.

Gorgeous views
This is a great space! My husband, three boys and I were very comfortable here for a week. Mayel's property was clean inside and out and stocked with the basics that a family would need. It was great to have a pool all to ourselves. My kids were loving going from the pool to the beach. The view was breathtaking. It was a reasonable drive to the touristy part of the island but also had plenty to offer close by. The beach was great. More rocks and seaweed than Eagle and Baby beach, but totally fine for swimming (especially for young kids because it is nice and shallow and seemed fairly calm). So pretty and right outside the door! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a more private experience. Thank you Mayel!

If you are looking for a quite place away from the main tourist area this is it. The place had a new built in gas grill that was really nice. Some of the best fish I have ever had was a zeeovers, about a ten minute walk. I would stay here again for sure.

Lovely clean bright townhouse right on the ocean, with own private pool. Our family loved it.
Mayel's townhome is lovely, has a bright, airy, modern feel. Opening the doors in the evening allowed cool ocean breezes to blow through the whole townhouse. Deck on oceanside had handy tap for rinsing off sandy feet. Morning coffee overlooking ocean was pure bliss. Snorkeling just steps away. Pool side had added benefit of outdoor shower to rinse off. Nice kitchen with modern fridge, dishwasher. Stove top a little tight to cook for our family of 6, and we didn't master the new bbq. 1 king, 2 double beds, including 1 in a loft walk through. Since we were 3 adults, 3 young adults, a roll away bed would be a great addition. Mayel was very helpful in keeping us within the hydro limit, by advising appropriate a/c temperature and timing. Only down side was bugs at dusk, and if we'd realized, we would have stayed on the upper decks at that time. Car rental highly recommended if any sightseeing planned. Great family get away during a Canadian deep freeze. Thanks Mayel!

Perfect peaceful place
We traveled with our 1 and 3 year old. Mayel was an amazing hostess. We arrived late and she even picked up a couple of items for us to make it until the shops opened the next day! She also provided a crib and high chair which was so nice not to have to bring with us. We would definitely go back here again if we returned to Aruba. This is not really a house, so we were a little disappointed upon arrival, although it was still fine. I would have preferred to know I was arriving to more of a beach townhome. With that said you wouldn’t really know it from the inside. It’s an end unit with a private pool and patio. The private pool really helped make the spot for us. It’s behind in the back, not beachfront. The lounge patio is beachfront just feet away from the water. Bring bug repellent! Mosquitos and sand fleas were fierce and we didn’t get to be outside much because of this. I would suggest to add screens or at least a screened in patio. That’s really the only little tidbits that would be good to know heading in. Lovely, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything to enjoy. We really preferred the quieter beaches and spots. The water out front of the house was good for swimming and shell hunting if properly prepared!

It was breathtaking and amazing.
Staying in this house in Aruba was absolutely amazing. We saw the most amazing sunsets from the balcony and beach. The house is close to downtown and the shopping area but also allows you to be with the locals and really enjoy the culture. I am already making plans on coming back. If you are thinking about staying here you definitely should. I have been on many vacations and this place was absolutely the best!!!!!! Mayel is amazing!

Perfect getaway!!
My husband and I and another couple spent a week in this condo! It was perfect I couldn't ask for anything more. The condo was very nice and we used the pool and mostly used the porch in the evenings and mornings. We were away from all the high rise and low rise hotels and all the crowds. Which we prefer. It was such a short drive (I reccomend a car) that we drove into town every day, we drove to baby beach, and Boca Grandi, eagle beach, and the light house area. It is all so close. We walked to The near by restaurants in saventa a couple nights too. We enjoyed the sunsets on our beach too some nights. It was all so beautiful. The only thing I recommend is to pick up some off, mosquito repellent. If staying in crowded resorts isn't your thing then Inhighly reccommend renting this condo.

Very nice Beach House!!
I will have to admit when I first arrived I thought maybe I should have booked a room in the high rise hotel district but I am really glad I did not. We had an excellent time!! Mayel met us and made us feel very comfortable. She gave us her phone number and was available in case we needed her for any reason. The beach in this area is not as nice as Eagle or Palm Beach but it is very quite, peaceful and fairly private and only about 20 feet from your back door. You will not have to fight crowds of people here. You can relax and just enjoy the view. If for some reason you want to visit other beaches you can. There are a lot of public areas on all the beaches. This beach house also has a private pool. It was clean and very nice. We really enjoyed it. There were two really nice restaurants close by, The Flying Fishbone and Marina Pirata. We loved both of them. With this beach house you are allowed so many units of electricity a day and then you have to pay extra if you go over. I was really scared we would go over. We kept the upstairs air conditioner running in our bedroom the entire time but we didn't run any air downstairs. Even running the air upstairs all the time we still didn't go over and were not charged any extra for electricity. The only thing I can say negative is the bed was a little firm for me....but I am accustomed to sleeping on a very soft bed. Other than that everything was awesome!!
