The resturant Don Geppi was excellent. Hotel is a bit dated but is such the norm for the area, bed and pillows werent exactly comfortable but great area with a short walk down to the sea you can take an elevator to the bottom that has beach chairs a beautiful beach area and restaurant/bar (not affiliated with this hotel) and great for visiting Amalfi/Positano without having to actually stay there (too many toursits and hard to get to and from)

Majestic and delightful
The Majestic Palace Hotel was amazing. It’s a beautiful property with very friendly and helpful staff. You can find stunning views from the rooftop bar and the breakfast was so good with a large variety of options. It was the perfect location for us as it was tucked away from the crowds but still very walkable.

The Majestic Palace Hotel was absolutely amazing. The property is gorgeous and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast each morning with a huge variety of options. The rooftop bar has stunning views and the drinks were incredible. We loved the location, as it was tucked away from the crowded areas but not too far of a walk from anywhere we needed to go. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a five star experience in the Sorrento area!

The rooms are very basic , the bed very uncomfortable, room not clean properly or poorly & the stuff , desk manager not doing her job, she is not professional & her customer service need to improve… the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced from any hotel manager .. not correct/ thorough lied straight to our face .. was avoiding an ongoing issue with our room

Overall, the property is very good with quality amenities and spacious room. All staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner restaurant on site looked wonderful but was outside our price point. Only major negative was location/distance to Sorrento old town (1.5 miles). It is walkable, but cabs charge $25 each way. By reference, 40 min cab ride in Rome is $55.

Lovely Stay
The hotel was lovely and the staff were incredible. The criticisms are that our room was on the lower floor and it smelled like old smoke in the hallway. Also we were visiting when there were rain storms and there was nowhere to dry clothes. But I would happily go back.

We recently stayed at the Majestic Palace Hotel in Sorrento and had an exceptional experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the room I stayed in offered a stunning sea view that made my mornings truly special. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, but a special mention goes to the manager, Espedito, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during our stay. His kindness and helpfulness really stood out and made a great impression. Overall, a fantastic hotel with great service—highly recommended!

Beautiful spot, staff were very helpful, food was tasty. The room was nice, the only thing I would mention is that the bed was really hard and you can’t adjust the wifi so at night it was quite warm. The pool area was fantastic! great experience!

A must stay! Everything was perfect…the front desk staff were so kind and friendly and professional. The room was exceptional and the property was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant….wow! It is a Michelin star restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. We have never had such amazing servers before. They made our meal even better. Absolutely wonderful restaurant experience. I highly recommend this hotel and be sure to try the restaurant and the roof top patio. Well worth it!

The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was clean (although they use a laundry company for towels & sheets which sometimes weren’t so clean) The roof top bar entertainment was very good (I think once a week) The hotel restaurant & bar was very good too. The location lets it down, it is a 25 min walk to Sorrento but there is nothing close to the hotel at all, apart from a couple of scruffy looking restaurants. It’s nice to be able to pop back to your hotel to change etc but the cab fare is 20-25 euros into Sorrento town so it’s not cost effective. Forget the bus… it’s full & there is no chance of getting on and unfortunately they just don’t have regular buses so it’s very unlikely you’ll ever get on! Always full by the time it gets to the stop near the hotel. I think location is so important when on holiday so would book closer to Sorrento if going again.

Nice upscale hotel just outside of Sorrento. Walk is about 20 minutes or so, not too bad, and public transportation is pretty decent nearby. Amenities are nice, especially the garden out back and the rooftop. The only downside was that the wifi was nearly unusable. I stayed for two days and the wifi in my room was spotty at best, had a hard time doing anything on my phone. When I checked out I hung out in the lobby for about an hour and the wifi was just as bad down there. I notified the staff and they said they would try to reset it but that didn't do anything. Pretty annoying.

Really lovely stay, the rooftop bar is something else. Don’t waste money on the 25 euro taxi we were advised to use as the bus is so quick and cheap to get into Sorrento main town centre. Our poor was broken was 1 day which was a gutter as the heat was intense but they did apologise and give our complimentary food and drink. Rooms are big and great room but downside is air con didn’t travel that well to the beds. Staff were lovely at the bar next to pool. Food for breakfast and lunch was superb!

The majestic Majestic Palace Hotel
This hotel was a gem. Situated in San Agnello very close to Sorrento. The hotel itself is immaculate. Lovely bar and dining room, Terrace and pool area with a great swimming pool. The rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. Beautiful views from the balcony of Mt Vesuvius and the Martini Bar on the roof top is sensational Staff were lovely and very helpful This is a great location base to explore Sorrento and to visit Pompeii. Wouid love to stay again for longer next time.
