Good value and convenient location

This is a convenient spot at a reasonable rate if you want to hit the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Car owners beware that this place only offers valet parking at a fairly stiff rate; we took an Uber from the airport and that's roughly half the cost of parking for one night. Staff were simply amazing--super friendly, welcoming and attentive to every need. The breakfast is one of the best we've had anywhere--hot scrambled eggs with chorizo, sausage patties and refried beans, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, fresh fruit, you name it, they had it out there and the kitchen staff was attentive to keeping things well stocked and fresh. Our room was a king-bed suite, and we love the layout. Separate sitting area with a couch and desk, a small mini-kitchen near the entry, large bathroom with sink/dressing area separated so you didn't fog up everything. Water pressure was awesome and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. One complaint we'd have to point at housekeeping--there was some dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom and some tooth paste splatter on the dressing room sink and mirror. Those items called into question how well they were vacuuming the carpeted areas that you couldn't assess so well and wiping down other surfaces in the room. One last note-they do have a reasonably good workout room with several treadmills, a bike, elliptical machine and some free weights. That was a welcome amenity which we had all to ourselves every time we used it.

Great stay. Property is clean, staff was friendly & helpful, bed & pillows very comfortable & room was spacious. Breakfast had good healthy options. Several blocks from riverwalk but an easy walk. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall, my family's week stay was very pleasant and good. The staff (i.e. reception, house keeping, kitchen, and valet) was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had no issues. The location was close to the Riverwalk (about 5 mins walk) but being in such an area, there were visible signs of the homeless and noisy traffic at night sometimes. However, both were never a cause for any negative impacts or experience. My family and I were disappointed in the outdoor pool though as it was advertised that it was heated, however, the temperature was in the low 70's. I'm well aware of the fact that it was late December, however, at the time we were there, San Antonio was experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures for the week that we were there averaged 80 degrees. Anyways, we expected an advertised heated pool would be warmer. Lastly, as with all hotels in or near a downtown, the overnight parking fees always feels like a rip off for myself as a hotel guest. I can understand if the amount of the fee is for the public but as a hotel guest, it's a rip-off and because of that, I always felt guilty not being able to tip the valets more despite the professionalism and courtesy that they displayed, due to already paying parking overnight fees.

The staff was very friendly / rooms clean and big. Breakfast was good with lot of different options Very central and close to the riverwalk The only thing was bad they charge you 37.5 us dollar for 24 h parking .you can park on the street for 3 dollar 8 to 6 and at night it's free. Would come back again

The property was fine. I had to switch rooms because people were super loud. I had someone kicking my door at 2am. It was my wife’s birthday and we got zero sleep. Notified staff but the damage was already done. I would not stay there again. We did not feel safe at all. It felt like someone was trying to break in our room. The entire door was shaking.
