We chose this hotel for it's location and were not disappointed. It is very close to the main attractions and for anything not a walkable distance the metro was a 2 minute walk away. It was also very close to Romes main train station which is great for travelling to the airports and other places in italy. The area itself is also nice; clean, safe and slightly cheaper than some other areas of Rome. Seemed to be popular with the backpacker community.
As for the hotel itself, we were a bit disappointed with the rooms, the furniture is very old and needs replacing. However, it was clean and provided a good night's sleep. Breakfast was also simple but nice.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable hotel for a couple of nights with good transport links.
It’s expectable to find a below avergae hotel given the price. It is really well located in Rome but the building is very very old and there are no functioning amenities in the room (i.e. fan, aircon was broken etc). But that’s not the worst part. I booked a room for myself and 2 others. My friend arrived last and while she walked from the lift to the room (you had go up a flight of stairs with your heavy suitcase so she was trying to locate the room first) someone stole her 25kg suitcase. In a matter of 60 seconds! The hotel staff did nothing and the guy whom she spoke with was verbally abusive and frankly quite scary because he started screeming at her! It was awful! While we were on the phone trying to call the police the suitcase magically appeared on the middle of the staircase! We had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and pay a lot more for another hotel. Additionally people would walk in to the room! Residents of the building would open the door and act surprised when seeing us then run off! Most bizarre place I have ever been to!!! Such a waste of money too!! Do not go there!!!!
Don't go here. We used their wifi to book another hotel and leave. It was terrible. The rooms are also separate from reception so anybody off the street can just walk into the hotel without passing the desk. Just save yourself the trouble book a different hotel.

Disliked: Cleanliness

The heater did not work and it was cold. We were in January there. The solution was doing nothing by the staff. The receptionist is very rude and so is the manager. They gave us a room with a broken heater and knew it so that shows the attitude of the management
The hotel is close to the train station and the old city. It isn’t that easy to find. The room was alright for sleeping and if you don’t expect to much comfort. Especially the bathroom was very old. But for the little money the hotel was more than great, even the breakfast.
