Very Disappointed......
This was a very difficult stay. No where in the information does it state there is no lift or manager on site. We arrived after our room was to be available and were told it would be at least 45-minutes before the manager could arrive. We had ton leave our luggage in the hallway downstairs (unprotected) until the time we could go to our room. The stairs were very challenging as I have 8-fused disks in my spine and 3-fused disks in my neck. My friend also haws back issues and it should have been disclosed there is no lift available. At first the manager suggested she would help us 'take our things out of our luggage and transport them upstairs'.....which was not acceptable to us. After we kept indicating we wanted a refund and were going to leave, she got a fellow (I believe off the street) and together they brought our luggage up the stairs. On the day we left, my friend and I somehow got our luggage haphazardly down the stairs. The manager was pleasant and tried to make the best of a difficult situation. We understand she is most likely 'just the middle-man' and was doing as good of a job as she could. A person with any more of a medical condition than myself could never have stayed in this establishment.

The hotel would be difficult to find, as it's down a side street. But the room was very nice, and the staff exceptioally helpful and gracious. I was feeling ill before we left, and the staff kindly let us stay past checkout to await our train.

Very close to the trevi fountain, great location and options to dinning, other monuments very close to this location, great service. Great communication, reminder this is a guest house not a hotel, but it was very private and very clean

This is literally a few steps away from the Trevi Fountain and very close to the Colosseum so a very convenient location. The manager was very accommodating as she let us enter early so that we could rest (were up all night on the flight). It is the middle of a lot of action but it felt safe. The room itself was clean and comfortable

Excellent location and very quiet and comfortable
When staying at Piccolo Trevi, you are getting the perfect location. This is my third time to go to Rome, but the first time that I did not use the Metro. I was able to easily walk everywhere, and being able to see the Trevi Fountain multiple times a day is great. The room is literally 1 block from the fountain, and there are many restaurants and cafes to visit. When you go to your room to relax, you are safe and secure behind multiple doors, and the room is very quiet even in the middle of the day. You are selecting a location which is perfect. The room is comfortable, sizable, and great bathroom. Feels like you are living in Rome.

Amazing location , you can’t be more central than this place . The Trevi fountain 1 min walk . We stayed on a second floor , very spacious large room , crispy clean bed sheets and towels . AC worked well . I’ll recommend to close wooden shutters outside the windows to make the room even more cooler . Special thanks to Olga , property manager who makes us very welcomed !

Central to everything and lovely!
Like staying at a wonderful friend’s house! Clean and bright! Very authentic experience. Literally steps from Trevi fountain, a little cafe for breakfast and a lovely restaurant for dinner and drinks! We could have stayed within a ten step radius of our room and had a wonderful time! That being said, almost all of the main attractions in Rome are within walking distance. What a GEM this little place is!

Good location, helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean. Was a little difficult to find as there was no signage. The listing mentioned no elevator, which was ok without luggage. Trying to carry your luggage up the steep steps was hard. Take away the stairs and everything was great! We greatly enjoyed our time in Rome!

We had a great stay at Piccolo Trevi. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful! It is close to many sites, so we were able to walk, and it is right around the corner from Trevi Fountain. It was a little bit noisy at night due to the location, but that is because you are in the mix of it all. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Weekend in Rome, near Trevi Fountain
quick visit to Rome for the weekend. I had two large bags and the stairs were steep to get my heavy bags up to the room. Room was very nice and plenty of room. Remote control for the Window A/C, but I didn't see it behind the curtains, so had to search why A/C wasn't turning on. Room is situated overlooking a very busy street, so evening noise from the crowds could be bad (A/C helped drown this out), but perfect location 1 block from Trevi Fountain and all the wonderful restaurants close by.

Great location and the owners and staff are wonderful, helpful, and so accommodating. Our flights were delayed and our luggage was lost, so we had to keep them updated on arrival. They are not a typical American hotel with guest services. It’s more like an airbnb. The room was lovely and modern. There are lots of steps (rooms are on the 3rd floor—they call it two). People with mobility issues may not be able to manage the steps. We would stay there again.

Fabulous in a perfect area.
The building was beautiful and iconic for a wonderful stay in Roma. The room is beautiful and very clean. It overlooks the hustle and bustle of the busy city but upon closure of the window it is quiet and restful. It is very close to the Trevi Fountains and lots of eateries. We will not forget our stay. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Pleasantly Memorable Accommodations
This is not a hotel. It is a guest house. People live in parts of the building, while other rooms are rented to guests. As such, there is no front desk. Our room was on the third floor, walk-up only on some steep stairs. This is not a complaint, but I include this info for people with mobility issues. The on-site manager greeted us warmly and was delightful for our entire stay. Our room was modern and comfortable, despite being in a 600-year-old building. We were just one short block away from the Trevi Fountain. Multiple restaurants within one block. Highly recommended for someone seeking an authentic Roman experience. If you are expecting all the amenities of a modern hotel, look elsewhere.
