The best part of the hotel is its location. It’s close to Trevi Fountain and dining. However, staff was not helpful or friendly. We also had the A/C fail two nights and the temperature was in the high 90’s!!! Instead of being apologetic, I was questioned whether I had left the A/C running all day!! Simply horrible and not willing to help. Also, even when we asked for suggestions for dining and tours, none were given.

Great hotel, walking distance to many of the popular sites. Minor downfall is cellular service did not work in the room due to location, but also Wi-Fi did not work.

Great staff with impecable attitude through-out the entire stay, is is within a long-ish (20 minute) walk from Roma Termini, dozens of places to eat are within minutes from the stay

I stayed one night at this hotel in a single room. The staff was very friendly when I was checking in and out. The location was very close to the Trevi fountain area, which was very convenient for exploring and food options. Really close to the metro line A as well. I will say that the shower was very small in the bathroom of my room. I am plus sized, and it was a tight squeeze to get in, so this could be something to take into account if you are considering this hotel.

Property was definitely outdated, it states there is breakfast available for a fee but that was never an option. I asked the male receptionist about the breakfast option and he was firm on NO. Not sure why it’s even being mentioned.

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of the walled city. The room had windows over looking the rooftops of Cortona and down in to the valley… beautiful. Swallows flying right by the windows.. Lovely front desk/reception staff… very helpful and kind. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is safe and quiet. Decent continental breakfast in the morning. Only negative is that there is no staff on duty after 8pm until 8am the next day.

This is not a five star property, but the location is within walking distance of Trevi, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Pantheon, and more. You'll find a million shops and restaurants within reach, and the Metro is only steps away. Book this property for the prime location. The desk is staffed early to late. The room had a great air conditioner, but be reminded that the electricity only works while you're in the room. It will take a bit to cool down after you arrive. My room also had a convenient mini-fridge. Thank you, Hotel Julia. See you next time.

The property was clean and the room was taken care of daily. The staff was kind and offered bag dropoff on the first and last day. But, the room was small and there was no WiFi in the room (the floor was missing the access point and due to the thick walls, other floors access points could not reach the room).
