Very poor stay
Really poor stay. Very miserable front desk man. He was completely unhelpful. Room was far too hot in November and the noise from the alley outside was horrific. The room needed a good clean. Breakfast selection was poor.

Disappointments at the Fontana
This was my 4th over 40 yrs, it’s not been updated or maintained, the crowds are horrible and the windows do nothing to block the noise. When I was younger it was tolerable not anymore, they couldn’t even replace a toilet seat that had all its rubber pads removed, the shower was moldy and the fellow at reception tried to up charge the taxis 20 euros to call in and they forgot. Never ever return or stay in that over crowded neighborhood

Love the view! Front row to the Trevi Fountain! Also in the restaurant in the 4 floor, you can have your breakfast with one of the best views in Rome! Clean, staff friendly, helpful, gave map of the city, order taxi, very convenient and reliable! Hotel is close to pantheon, spanish steps! Too bad Trevi Fountain is in repair, no water 😢 And workers start very early ,before 7am! But definitely stay there again!

Staff was great. They help us get a taxi when we were leaving. They gave us a map of the city to find places of interest. Hotel was right in front of Trevi fountain. Door way to hotel was constantly blocked by tourists. Wall to wall people all night long. Very dirty area. Bathroom was very small. If you are a large person you won’t fit between toilet and sink.

We loved the location of the hotel. We were able to walk to all the attractions and sometimes used the Metro.The staff were very friendly. The only down side is the hotel does need some updating. The toilet in our shower room stopped where the side of the sink started so it was impossible to use properly. The breakfast for us was ok but not a great choice of food.

Rooms are very small. It is right in front of the trevy fountain which makes it easier to walk around the city. However, rooms are not comfortable and it is an old hotel

Staff super nice. Classic Rome hotel. Right in front of the fountain. The 4 floor is where you have the breakfast and best view. The room was comfortable and quiet. I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and ready to help. By mistake they assigned a room that wasn’t ready and they immediately corrected and gave aus deee drinks and snack in the rooftop while preparing the room. María is so sweet and friendly and make everything with love specially breakfast. Both daytime and nighttime shifts are good. We highly recommend this hotel that is more 390 hundred years old but well maintained.

Very nice staff. Lovely older hotel right in front of the Trevi. Very noisy due to location. Heard noise thru the night but that can’t be avoided due to location. Many shops and restaurants in the area. Roof top garden area lovely and a nice breakfast.

We loved the character of this hotel. We had a great view of the Fountain Trevi. Even though it was under maintenance, the fountain was beautiful. This place was very convenient to all shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything, including the Metro. Would stay again.

Room was nice, bathroom a little small and awkward to sit on the toilet. Trevi fountain was closed would have appreciated an email notifying us as we paid extra to see the Trevi and it would have given us a chance to book elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay here. We came for the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday, they made the celebration even more special when at breakfast the lovely staff and room sang happy birthday over a candle in donuts! Our room was just what we needed a lively view of the Trevi fountain and very comfortable bed after lots of walking!! We would definitely come back to this hotel and fab location.
