Hotel della Torre Argentina was centrally located and within walking distance to all of Rome's major seats. I had a large king size bedroom. The bedroom and bathroom was super clean and the front desk was so helpful with giving recommendations for coffee/breakfast in the morning, and was helpful with giving me an umbrella when it rained. My only small complaint is that the shower door is half the size and when you shower, water does get everywhere. But overall I really enjoyed my stay here and loved how clean and convenient this hotel is to everything.

Hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance to most major sights in Rome. Hotel was clean, quiet and in a great area. Only negative is that we were there when there was a terrible thunderstorm with torrential rain. The entire lobby and ground floor flooded while we were having drinks at the bar. I’m sure this rarely happens; however, was a little surprised that the hotel did nothing for the group of us who dealt with this potentially dangerous situation as we were stranded in the flooded lobby (and even charged us for the drinks we were having as the lobby flooded).

The rooms are not sound proof, lacked tables beside the bed, and a/c does not cool the room. The beds and pillows are as hard as boards. The location and staff are great.

We chose very well!!
Everything about the Hotel della Torre Argentina was excellent. The location, the staff, the size and comfort and cleanliness of the room. Their breakfasts are fabulous. Being our first time in Rome, we were super pleased we chose this hotel. We highly recommend it to others. AND they offer excursions each day. We did the night walk & photo opp with a guide the hotel arranged. We met people from all over the world who were staying at the same hotel and others around the city.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE Let's take the positive first: The surrounding area is perfect, but that's the last time I will use the word perfect about this disappointing hotel. I requested a room with lots of light or a view TWICE, which always is important to me, first time in the booking and in a later note but I got the smallest, darkest, and the worst single room I've had for years! Actually, the receptionist admitted that nobody had read my request, so I feel like a fool and not like somebody who is Expedia Gold. My dark, small room was really expensive, too, so I can definitely NOT recommend this hotel for single travelers unless they love overpriced rooms with a small TV? The rooms for couples might be okay though. By the way, the people who worked there seemed like nice people which is why I don't give the hotel one star!

Spent 5 nights here and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Incredible staff. Everyone was personable, knowledgeable and really happy to help. Gorgeous room with all the amenities I could have asked for. Incredibly atmospheric rooftop to unwind on at the end of the day. The location is beyond perfect, was at most 30 minute walk away from the sites I wanted to visit and the amount of restaurants and bars nearby is astounding. Couldn't recommend more. Would definitely be back!
