Very loud hotel, barking dogs in the night, leaking shower and we paid an extra $25 for the breakfast that was left overs from the night before happy hour and lunch meat? Internet doesn't work in the rooms and this was a complaint I heard from other guests

We booked 3 rooms and were across the street from the main hotel. There was a lift which is a plus but you have steps getting to it. Our rooms look nothing like the ones pictured, tiny bathroom, no luggage racks, and no lights in the area we had to put our luggage on the floor. This was a last minute booking.

No hot water, clogged drains, enjoy your stay!
there were two major issues, 1)both shower and basin drains were 90% blocked, draining took 15 mins so your feet were in soapy water 2) for two days there was no hot water! so we had to shower in cold water. The management keep assuring us that it would be fixed momentarily "some one was working on it". some folks left, we could not as we had paid up front and it was non refundable! On second day I went to the roof top hot water tank room, no one was working on it! the management lied ! On checkout no compensation was offered.!

Terrible damp room so asked to moved. We then got an even worse room which was really dirty and with paint peeling off the ceiling!! The terrace is a joke because you can’t see anything through the hedge! Really would not go back again!

Location was very good close to spanish steps and trevi fountain. Staff helpful. Breakfast was ok. Hot water was off for 30 plus hours. Advertised happy hour on terrace roof but that was closed in the evenings. Aircon, fridge, safe in room. No brew facilities so gasping for a nice cup of tea at times

They put us in a very small room. Moved us to a more comfortable. The room had no WiFi reception. We were willing to stay the night and change hotels. They moved us to another location in the hotel that had WiFi. It was like pulling teeth and could have been done without threatening to leave.

Excellent staff
Upon check in, we were NOT given the room pictured online. It was an old outdated, and quite frankly, disgusting room. The staff was very accommodating and switched our room. Otherwise, the hotel is great with good breakfast and is walking distance to all major Roman tourist sites.

Close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. We had a superior room which was a decent size. They aren’t all the same though as others in our group had differing standards in theirs. Clean and tidy and staff were pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel is all about location and the value of that for the price. Rooms tiny, lift small and antiquated, minimal soundproofing between rooms, but breakfast buffet decent, staff friendly, and location excellent for walking to all main attractions along with being pretty cheaply priced, particularly for Rome. If you want to be in the centre and dont have the budget for a more luxurious hotel with a clean place to sleep being your priority then this place works well

The photos that are displayed on Expedia do not apply for all their rooms. Especially to the 4th floor. Room was different, old and shabby. Staff wasn’t friendly at all. I’ve stayed for 2 nights, on the second one I realized that they making up your bed but didn’t change bed sheets. No one will help you with luggage or taxi, one of the receptionist ignored me and my questions about the breakfast. Memorable was that they were more welcoming on check out rather than on check in!

Good for the price
I’ll keep this to the point. Good points The location is nice and central, 5 mins walk from Trevi Fountain. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bad Room was a bit small for 2 people. The elevator isn’t ideal. Very awkward for 2 people with suitcases. City tax had to be paid in cash. This makes it feel like it’s a con. The view from the window wasn’t exactly picturesque but to be honest this is a very minor point. Good location for anyone looking to go to the tourist hot spots over a few days.

OK if on a budget but after central location
Ideal if on a budget and looking for central location. I had a room which hadn’t been updated in years and was really showing its age. Cleanliness was ok. Air con worked. Nice roof terrace and bar.
