The hosts were were lovely people, they were able to offer a airport transfer, the facilities in the property were fabulous. Breakfast was left in the kithen and fridge for self service. It has a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, cooker. Tea/ coffee facilities. A lovely garden to sit in with swimming pool. A 15-20 min walk to nearest village, it has an archeology site nearby. Metro train nearby also. The local supermarket had minimum supplies. There's a nick- nac shop ( chinese) where you can pick up lots of different things like phone chargers and adapters.the beds at the property were comfortable, x1 double upstairs and x1 sofa bed. Often noisy at night with the local dogs barking.half an hour from FCO airport, 45 mins from rome.

Stayed one night here and it was very lovely. Swimming and sun chair helps to relax after the flight, quite near to the airport too. The apartment was very clean and tidy, had everything you need. The only thing I’d say to the visitors is that put that mosquito repellent (provided in the apartment) as soon as you get there. I spent about 3 minutes with the host whilst he was explaining everything about the apartment and the mosquitoes had already found their way in! Everything else was very pleasant. The couples are very lovely and interesting to talk to. I’d definitely book again when I’m in Rome.

Wonderful stay
Flavia was a warm, kind and hospitable host who made me feel welcome from the beginning to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed, nicely laid out bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. Add the pool and patio to the mix, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Gens Mundi as your Rome base. 4.5* to this wonderful B&B. Grazie mille, Flavia!

Lanfranco stayed up to 2 am to welcome us to his beautiful home. The property is in the lovely Ostia Antica, a Roman city that is better preserved and larger than Pompeii. He made sure everything was perfect for us. He drove us to the ruins, picked us up and took us to the airport. We couldn't have been happier with the service. Plus, the room was clean, quiet and safe. This is what a B&B should be. There was also a pool on the property, but sadly we didn't have much time to spend.

The couple were great and I recommend them fully. Very nice and clean place and their attention to detail was second to none. The husband picked us up at the airport and was ver informative about the area especially Ostia Antica. He recommended a great restaurant La Brace Dei Matti, excellent food and atmosphere. All around great 5 star experience and I’m looking forward to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay!! Our hosts were kind and welcoming and helpful. Their property and guest rooms are beautiful and well-stocked. We would love to stay there again! We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast provided very much. We didn't realize how far away from the tourist attractions we would be, so we struggled a bit getting there but we were conveniently close to the airport and the shuttle service was very helpful!

Hospitality was absolutely the Best! We stayed at the beginning of our trip and again at the end of our trip. Flavia & Lan Franco were amazing. We were picked up at the airport (about 20 mins. away) brought to the property. When it was time to leave, we were taken to the train station. Upon return, again we were picked up at the train station and and upon leaving taken to the airport. These folks went out of their way to accommodate us and our family. We were taken into the local town and given all the highlights of what to do. We had difficulties with our return flight home and almost got cancelled. Not a problem for these folks, they made contingency plans for us to return to the property if needed (luckily we made it home ok). The assurance that we had a place to stay if needed was a big relief. I can't thank Flavia & Lan Franco enough for everything. I would definitely return to this location again when passing through the Rome area. Thank you.

Beautiful property, clean room, and welcoming hosts. I would recommend a stay at Gens Mundi to anyone. My only caution is that it is a bit hard to get to unless taking a cab, but the host offered a ride to the airport at well below can rates and was very accommodating. Thanks for the stay.

We stayed at Gens Mundi B&B only on our last day of vacation. We arrived from Roma Termini and took the Metro to Ostia Antica metro station. Lofranco, the host was generous enough to pick us up at the metro station. Both him and his wife very friendly people. Gens Mundi is a very well kept property. Very clean and comfortable, Appreciated the breakfast which was included in the shared kitchen. We stayed in the front unit. The small bungalow has a California feel to it. Nice pool and beautiful bougainvillea flowers blooming in the front. We did not get to explore the area much but it is located in a quiet neighbourhood and there were quite a few options of restaurants within walking distance. The host gave us a ride to the airport for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. Good value for your money.

Great location close to the airport for flying out the next day. The hosts were lovely. They picked us up from the metro. Left breakfast items for us in our kitchenette. Drove us to the airport the next day. Made our last night/morning in Rome very easy and relaxing!
