This is a great little hotel for when you visit Rome. This was my second time staying here. It is very quaint and the staff is so very friendly. It is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Nothing fancy but very clean and very well located. If your looking for a lot of amenities, this is not the place, but if you’re looking for a great place to relax and rest at a very great price this is your spot.

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. However there was a real issue with noise and sound carrying from room to room. More so than just loud noises, there was constant noises of plumbing too. You could hear everything, including if someone had a shower or walked along the corridor. This made for a particularly disturbed night of sleep. When combined with an extremely hard mattress, and curtains that didn’t block out the light, it resulted in a terrible stay. The hotel was pleasant and a good location, but if you are a light sleeper in any way, the rooms are simply unsuitable for sleeping in

This particular location shared my FAVORITE QUALITY of spending time in a "Neighborhood". The Quality of the residence, and AS Importantly, or MORE... the Staff, front of house, management, finances, info, booking..even Fabulous breakfast chef and attendents, avaiability for ANY help, amenities, data for seeking Attractions for art or Food.. Is the BEST...I have ever experienced in 50 years of travel. Rome can be "Tough" for visitors..even without my Art/culture/food experience.. I speak some Italian, much Spanish, French, but primarily English... EVERY employee went beyond Normal duties to be kind and communicative...right down to the maintenance and room supervision. I simply Cannot say How WONDERFUL..all the Staff at this Location...SOooo convenient, have been. I was even able to speak to one Manager..to Express my thanks for such a wonderful experience.. DO...yourself a favor..and Stay at "Casa Santa Sofia" if you want to experience the Best of Rome. It is mere blocks from The Collosium..and I was able today to even take a lovely stroll to the Borghese Gallery to see, again, my favorite artist's work.. Berninini.. I even stopped to get a new suit..tailored..just for Me.!! I can pick i up tommorrow by noon. Fantastic.!

We like that the property is located in the metro area, walking distance from the coliseum, restos around the hotel. It has clean room, has the basic necessities, breakfast has good choices.. The best is that the front desk are very helpful booking our taxi everytime upon needed. They even book and suggest a bigger car going to the cruise port, but i wish they connect with a cleaner/newer van. The travel was good, except the driver is always on the phone and I was concerned on his driving concentration. Not a deal breaker but I wish there is a life size mirror in the room. There is no towel rack to hang wet towels

Great location near metro station and colosseum. Plenty of dining options close to hotel. The shower is a bit of an experience, it’s tiny and the curtain tends to get in your way but I managed to survive. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was recently remodeled and still in the process. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. Our room did not have a TV. It was not important for my wife and I. Make sure you read the details of the room to meet your requirements for your stay.

The last night we had no air conditioning. They opened the windows, closed the shutters, and provided a fan. The hotel is in a great area and convenient.
