Housekeeping never came into our room. We did not need new sheets. But, bed was not made. Bathroom was not cleaned. No fresh towels. A hotel of any quality does those 3 things: make bed, clean the bathroom, give fresh towels. RIT in did none.

Great location
The room was mostly clean. When housekeeping came and went, the room was again, mostly clean. Some stuff still on the floors. Great location and valet parking is available although you may have to wait about 15mins for the valet. It is a very busy area, especially on weekends. But many shops available within walking distance

Family member needed to be admitted to Strong Memorial, 3 kids 2 adults and family dog stayed the night. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Bonus was being able to take the kids swimming! We would stay there again

Had to make a last minute trip before surgery since we’re two hours away, this hotel was the cheapest so I was expecting. However I was very impressed! Very clean rooms, hotel, pool. The pool had a lifeguard and a hot tub which were definitely a bonus. Had an issue with my room when I checked in which was quickly taken care of! Will stay again

Staff friendly. The place was clean. It's all a bit dated, there are newer options. The tile floors in the main hallway struck me as an odd choice. It's in good shape, just not cute. I thought it would be closer to RIT - there are also closer options to campus.

This property was clean, ready when I arrived, and the staff was gracious and attentive. I would gladly stay again. Handicapped parking wasn't even necessary, since all spaces were close. Highly recommend.

Parking was good. The hotel is a bit obsolete. The lights in the hotel rooms are not very bright. The blankets are pretty cheap and not in good quality and they’re not warm enough. The doors are hard to open. I was not impressed with the food at Petals. It could have been better. I think the price is too high for that not so impressive things. It is embarrassing because I am an RIT alumnus.

Water leak
We picked RIT Inn for its location to our event. We were charged over $200 which the going rate for what you would think is an above average hotel. We were wrong, way wrong. The staff were not friendly at all, it was as if they were being punished and had to be there. The room was outdated and smelled. We were woke up by a water leak above the bed. The staff only came in to look but did not do anything to fix it. We moved the beds to keep them from getting wet and we found that they haven't been moved in a very long time. The dirt, old clothing, old room keys, and dust bunnies you can ride into town on. Due to the water leak we had to leave early, but the staff refused to offer a discount, new room or even a coffee for thr inconvenience. Not a place we will return to.

RIT Inn is an average hotel. We stayed during Homecoming Weekend so this hotel, along with all the other hotels were fully booked. It was fine. We wanted to stay here as our son wanted to see the hotel which also hosts student dorms in another wing.
