I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I expected that as an older building it would be somewhat outdated and old fashioned. In fact most of the facilities appeared to have been recently renovated from the huge triple room we had to the spa and the restaurant. Spa area is not huge but I enjoyed the wave machine in the pool and the sauna was the best I have been in. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. I didn’t dine in the restaurant but Easy Pizza next door was good. Location convenient for all attractions and we walked everywhere except the zoo which was an easy tram ride. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is very centrally located, so you can visit all the main tourist attractions on foot every day. The room itself was quite modest, the quality of the towels was very poor.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the hotel was clean and in an excellent location. Staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a bit disappointed but a glass of wine was a nice touch.
