This was a fantastic hotel and we would definitely come back! Location could not be better, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and well kept up, and it has everything you need whether you’re staying in or going out exploring.
Pros:
- We were fresh off a red eye flight and were given a free room upgrade and early check in!
- Location is super easy to access from the main highways but is still just a 5 minute walk from the center of Ribeira Grande.
- Central location means you’re close to Ponta Delgada and it’s still easy to get to both sides of the island.
- Staff are friendly and helpful.
- Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and modern.
- Shower water pressure is fantastic.
- Free breakfast is a nice addition and has many options.
- Great gym for a hotel, pools and sauna are fantastic.
- Bed is comfortable (if you like a firm mattress).
- Easy and ample parking
Cons:
- Food at breakfast is generally room temperature.
- Rooms are not super sound proof.
- Limited restaurant options in the immediate area and the hotel’s restaurant is expensive.
