We had the breakfast included. We didn't know how exactly worked because all the reviews were lacking of details. So, basically in the afternoon they bring you a basket with: 2 hard boil eggs, 2 slices of bread, 2 slices of ham and 4 slices of cheese. Every day they bring different fruits (2 apples, other day 1 banana -us being 2 people-, other day 2 kiwis, other day some grapes, some oranges, ect...). They also bring you nutella, butter, different jams and 2 different flavors yogurts. Every day at 8:00 am, they deliver a sour dough bread and leave it in your door. We were there for a whole week and some days we didn't even open the bag. It was too much bread! They also leave an apple juice and whole milk. There were some tea bags but no coffee nor coffee maker anywhere. So we had to go out every day just to buy coffee. The basket wss great for the first 2 maybe 3 days, but after that it's just boring eating the same food every single day.

Because it is close to nearby things, the street sometimes was loud. Parking is on street, or parking garage. Only issue with the room, we had a corner room and shower head was handheld and at waist level. Not sure if all showers are like this one.

The receptionists were so attentive they arranged my room at 11am when I requested to since I had an early morning flight. All the staff members were so nice. Cleaning staff members were also nice and were coming every day to clean the room.

My family stayed at the “printing press” building that’s part of the residence hotel. It was perfect for the 6 of us and allowed us plenty of space while still being able to all be in one room. Parking was on the street and easy to navigate. The hotel receptionist was super friendly, helpful, and informative! We wish we could’ve stayed longer, we had no complaints! Our room was in great shape and had a pull out coach that was already set up for us when we arrived. Everything was also clean and in good condition! Highly recommend!

The hotel located in the center of the city, it is just a short walking distance to the shopping street. The two bedroom apartment we stayed was spacious, clean and has beautiful snowy mountains and ocean view! The staff is friendly and helpful. We just stay there one night, can’t wait to go back and stay there again x

The receptionist was very polite and helpful. She pointed imus in the right direction for parking as it can be complicated. The hotel was difficult to find because google maps kept taking me in the wrong the direction. Other than that everything was great. The room was impeccable, the beds extremely comfortable and big. The kitchenette was well equipped. I would definitely book again! The hotel is new and there is some construction outside. It is close to everything!

A truly amazing place! It definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything is extremely clean and convenient. The breakfast is just wonderful, they bring it to your room with the fresh sourdough bread from one of the best bakery in town. While they don’t have their own garage parking around is very simple. (if you go for a tourist trip I highly recommend renting a car.) The front desk people are incredibly helpful. The area around that has everything you need, and the whole downtown Reykjavík is just adorable. It’s been at least 10 years since we were this happy with a hotel.

Reception is so helpful and kind! It's super nice that they will hold your bags for you before and after checkout as well- something that I haven't encountered before. The rooms were clean and had plenty of amenities. The shower got HOT and had amazing water pressure. Also it is close to shops, groceries, & restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is very close to the water and to the shops and restaurants. It's in a beautiful spot that's safe and quiet. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. We loved it.

Accommodation was lovely and spacious and well equipped if you wanted to cook in the property. Nice touches of coffee, tea, milk, juice and cornflakes already in the apartment. Only little issue we had was I hadn’t received the code to access property and emailed them, got an email but didn’t include the code, but prompt reply with it when asked. Would have preferred a keycard to access property as was wary of phone running out of charge for entering property. Would definitely recommend this property for closeness for dining, transport and sightseeing

The property is super clean and very close to everything. Great restaurants nearby and a block away from the sun voyager. The staff are super helpful and courteous. I ours come back to this property. Great for groups and the nice thoughts of leaving us basics like milk, juices, coffee and etc. The kitchen is well equipped.

Great little place in downtown Reykjavik! Walkable to many places downtown. A few renovations (painting) happening while we were staying there, but the painters did not come early or stay late (were not bothersome). Would recommend!

Enjoyed a great stay at Reykjavik Residence hotel. The Front Desk staff was very helpful with check in and providing concierge service with bags and directions. The room was spacious for two people and offered a quiet place to relax after full days exploring Iceland.
