Close to Harpa Bus Stop 5. As an FYI to cruise passengers, when we were there in August there was a free bus between Bus Stop 5 and the cruise ship. Very convenient on embarkation day!

The double queen rooms only had 1 queen bed. The bathrooms were terrible, so small that there was almost no space between the sink and shower. Plugs in the room were broken. Thermostat was broken. Low quality iron. Rooms were small too

The room was an absolute shoebox...with an amazing view. If you're looking for space, this isn't the place. And the tiny shower is just ridiculous. The staff is friendly and top notch and there's a killer rooftop bar with amazing views.

Recently stayed at the Arnarhvoll hotel with a "No See View Room" The windows in my room were so dirty that I could barely see out of them – I think I saw a bird at one point, but it could have just been a smudge on the glass. (Yes I understand you can't control the weather but don’t make "sea view" such a selling point when booking) Staff could be friendlier. When I enter the breakfast area (without have breakfast included) to speak to a colleague, they confronted me like I was a major criminal and they were trying to prevent a serious crime taking place. I mean, come on guys, a little friendliness goes a long way! (Maybe just upset about having to clean those dirty windows all the time) Overall, my stay at the hotel was average (At £220 a night I would expect better) there's nothing special that any other hotel doesn't offer. With all the other accommodation options available in the area I may give this one a miss and try something else on my next visit.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, steps away from the city center, the old harbor and restaurants, and bus stop 5. The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Sky restaurant which has striking view over the ocean with the volcanic mountains at the far distance. The breakfast there was very good and the happy hour in the evening was awesome , lots of options for drinks. We are very happy with our stay there. The only thing is that the room is a bit small and after the shower we need to mop the floor.

staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. location was very convenient. the try ooftoo bar had a great view and the spa was a very nice amenity. the only thing that could be improved was the room itself which was rather spartan. Otherwise, five stars.

Center Hotel Arnahvol is center to the fun!
This hotel is center to the neighborhood up the hill that has tons of shopping and food/drinks and the harbor where whale watching boats go out. Go listen to the Bookstore Band that plays from 4-11 every night in town. It does have a rooftop bar and a spa if interested.

Great breakfast buffet on the top floor called the Sky Bar. Has excellent views of the water. The hotel is located just blocks from all the good restaurants in town. Only negative is small bathrooms. But that’s probably consistent with a European standard compared to what Americans are used to.
