Always love the Atlantic Sands and always make it my go to for off-season visits to Rehoboth Beach. A great hotel that's well maintained and staff that's always helpful and cheerful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious too and in a very short walk you are in downtown with lots of restaurants, shopping and of course, the beach! Highly recommend this hotel as I've been staying here for 40 years. .

I like view and convenience. However, bed needs replacement it was very uncomfortable so much so that my back was in agony as a result. Tv is old and outdated, no bedspread on bed, and rust in shower ceiling, toilet seat is old and faded needs replacement. Finally light bulbs kept blinking on and off probably needs new one. Best thing was view it was perfect.

Lovely location on the boardwalk with all the best side street bars/restaurants nearby. The rooms/hallways in ocean view rooms could use some TLC. The carpeting is old in rooms/hall. While the room & bathroom were clean, carpet/doors & bathroom fixtures could use some updating. However, it's not enough to keep me away as I've stayed there several times. Can't beat the location.

Great location but the room reminded me of one you would see in a roadside motel. Bathroom was tiny and is definitely dated, and there was no clock or light on the bedside table. Also, I booked an ocean view room. I went on a Monday in November so there was no one there yet they put me in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. I did have an ocean view but would have been nicer to be up higher.

Construction was unfortunately a nuisance but I enjoy the hotel on a yearly basis. It's affordable and the service is great. It's in a perfect spot on the beach and a great distance from main avenue. Love it!

I don't know why this place has been getting bad reviews, maybe I just got lucky or because of the room I chose. This hotel is outdated & has the "old" vibes, but who cares? So do all the hotels on the boardwalk. I personally dig the retro vibe and woodgrain elevators. My room was clean, the AC was COLD which is fantastic because I can't sleep unless it's like 62f in my room. Beds/pillows were fine, shower had fine water pressure. Plus, the small toiletries they give you are Bath&Body Works brand, for free! Parking on site was great, easy in easy out, felt safe leaving my Honda in there. The front desk staff when I checked in were incredibly friendly and personable, it was Jenn & someone else whose name I didn't catch. Location is quite literally the best, main boardwalk shops are right there. There was construction next door but it was done for the day by like 4pm. Started early next day but I personally didn't hear it. Thanks for the great stay guys, I'll be back.

I paid more for a room with partial view/balconyand found my view from my balcony overlooked porta potties and construction. So sitting in the deck you heard that noise and watched people going in and out of the potties. I feel Expedia should share that information, so I could have booked another option.
