For such a high end hotel I expected better. Our umbrella was broken, no view which wasn’t mentioned when I booked the room and only 2 robes when the booking was made for 3, creaking doors.. Staff very professional and friendly but will not go back

I wanted to love this place, it was beautiful. But, travelers take note, if you are coming from America and don’t speak much French there is is 1;2 ratio for good and bad encounters with workers. If you try to speak French they are annoyed if you speak English they are annoyed. Some of the workers were amazing, but some were not and it definitely affected the vibes of our stay. The valet drivers were absolute sweethearts, some people in the restaurant just weren’t and some in the front desk weren’t. Also the safety wasn’t taken into note, we arrived to the hotel late at night to find the front doors still open and the elevators didn’t require a key card up. That was worrying to say the least. I would unfortunately recommend somewhere else and there are hidden fees not advertised when booking.

The location is perfect! We were right across the street from one of the Christmas Markets, everything else was 10 to 15 mins walk- Petit Champlain, Toboggan. Excellent restaurant on site and 4 mins walk to Cochon Dingue, amazing breakfast! A lot of cute shops and fun pubs down the way. Thr hotel itself was immaculate and the staf were great!

We loved Le Capitole! The room was great, the staff was professional and attentive, and it was wonderful to have a restaurant and bar onsite. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the cheerful valets. Hotel check in was a breeze and they were quick to make recommendations for places to visit. And special shout out to Emilia and JP - our favorite bartenders who make a mean chocolate martini.

Wonderful location. We did not have a car. Was easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. We visited Christmas Markets, le chateau Frontenac, tobagan ride, from Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church in Place Royale to the end of Rue du Petit-Champlain experienced a true winter wonderland. Also Old Quebec city food & drink waking tour. The on site restaurant and bar were WELL above average. Wonderful staff, clean & quiet. Indoor pool and view from the pool were awesome! Highly recommend!!
