Pros: Let us check in earlier than stated time. Fresh, new, clean, modern. Excellent location for Temple Bar Cons: Hard bed, No tea / coffee facilities in room.

This my first time at the Moxy in Dublin and I can't recommend enough. The staff were like a family and were welcoming from the minute we arrived (which was early morning but they arranged for us to check-in early without us even requesting) until we checked out and i asked to print some train tickets which they arranged with no hesitation. The rooms were immaculate, minimalist but everything you needed for a weekend away. The location is perfect for using public transport and the staff were very knowledgeable about the City. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

It was easy to find, great location just off O'Connell Street and super friendly and helpful staff. However, we would not book again as overall the experience was disappointing. For the price (just under £130 for one night midweek in November), and for a 4 star hotel it was shocking to discover that there was no storage space, or tea and coffee making facilities in the room or room service. No extra pillows or extra blankets/duvets either (I woke up feeling cold towards the morning). We were told it was 'the Moxy Way' a poor corporate excuse for the lack of facilities.

In terms of the room amenities, our offering is that of the Moxy branded hotel and therefore consistent of the brand. This is explained on our website and other advertisements. If you return to Dublin, there three alternative Marriott branded hotels in the City that may suit your needs better as full service hotels. Thanks again for your feedback.

The property is only being opened for a couple of weeks so everything is new but also not everything is working. Had to move rooms as the aircon was not working in the first room I was assigned. No ironing boards in rooms, you have to go to a room in your floor to iron, but none are working except one, so in theory there is only one iron for the entire hotel. The breakfast is a cold one, cereals and pastries only with a coffee dont expect any hot food, and because everything is new, the plates were all dusty as they've been sitting there whilst work continues! The bedding is very stiff and uncomfortable, like sand paper. Only two pillows on the bed which are very thin. Bring your own body lotion and laundry bags as none are supplied.
