This place is immaculate. Very friendly and responsive staff. Some language barriers exist but an english speaking staff members were always a step away. The food is only so-so. The resaurants not in the buffet were better but you must reserve ahead of yout trip or you will be dining at 9:00 pm like us. We had the opportunity to reserve up to 7 but our late scheduling would only allw 4, the rest had no available reservations left.

We were amazed at the property from the gorgeous open lobby to the poolside bedroom suite to the welcoming beach and pools. The specialty restaurants (Brazilian, Asian, French) kept us delighted from one dinner to the next with gourmet food served to perfection! Every staff member from housekeeping to water servers to front desk receptionists were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The highlight of our relaxing time by the pool and beach was clearly the entertainment group, including, Jarrol, Angelo, and Roberto! They got us to play games, Zumba, participate in dance lessons and made us feel special. Please tip the entertainment! They work hard and are amazing. We also went on two extra excursions arranged by the hotel in order to explore the island: Saona Island (turquoise waters and starfish!) and Samara (horseback riding to a waterfall and then a beach!) Both were full days but worth it! We don't advise taking a taxi out of the resort other than a transfer because the resort has so much planned. Our hot water wasn't as hot as we are used to, but oh well. We were treated like princesses and we would come back!

Wonderful staff, uncomfortable beds, barely adequate room, 24 hour room service didn’t answer the phone. If they did it was hours before showing up and our 1 time we got through they brought the wrong items. Property was very nice and staff was wonderful. Good was adequate

We read the reviews after we booked it, so we knew what we were getting in to…the resort itself is kind of in the middle of no where, and the beach has murky water that we didn’t go into. But we LOVED the resort, very clean, the entertainment was super fun, the food was pretty good (download the app and make dinner reservations before you go). I would suggest booking excursions when you get there, we did the island one day to get our blue water and La Hacienda Park and loved both. We were very happy with everything for the price point that we paid! Highly recommend!

Resort is overall good, great service, friendly staff. The only disappointment is the beach, not even close to what a Caribbean beach typically looks like with clear and blue water, this was totally the opposite.

What an amazingly vacation!!! The food was sooooo good, restaurants and buffets!! The rooms were huge; sooo clean and dark and quiet!! I have no complaints! The staff were so kind and helpful!! This property has almost everything. We didn’t find the bikes or the water sports. Amazing massage/facial. And would love to come back but I will never fly frontier again. Such a disappointment!!
