An awesome hidden gem in Puerto Viejo
It was a great experience. The room was very clean, the beds are truly comfortable and the design of the bathroom was totally unexpected (very roomy BTW) The included breakfast is exactly what you need to start your day. I wasnt expecting they have a private entrance to Chiquita Beach (gardens surrounding it are really nice and clean) The only improvement I recommend is the front face of the Hotel. It's is not fair for what you find inside of the property (which is awesome) MR

Overpriced
Hard to find. Overpriced as now at New Caribe Point, Cahuita for 1/3 less in spotless 2 bedroom villa with pool. Breakfast was good. Beach not swim able as red flagged so management claim of “just go in the ocean” is untrue. Would not stay here again

Super awesome place in the jungle. Rustic, great character, excellent staff. Nice beach access. Yiu can hear tge monkeys as they move through the trees. Parrots, toucans, beautiful foliage all around.

The owners were superb in that they went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as posible. One day it was raining and the owner took me to a chocolate museum then waterfalls, lunch, etc. I really appreciate the efford! The room was very clean with a nice a clean bathroom and big shower. Very close to the beach through a beautiful path.

Big potential but needs a little lift! Great rooms
The hotel has great potential but could use better management and IMPORTANTLY mosquito nets! The staff was very friendly and the rooms was GREAT! I hope they sort out the hotel and clean the area around...........

Schattige Bungalows, immer 2 stehen zusammen und sind nur durch eine sehr dünne Wand getrennt: extrem hellhörig! Sitzgelegenheit und Hängematten auf der Veranda. Bungalows: hell, groß, Betten okay. Tägliche Reinigung. Handtücher werden gewechselt, kommen aber immer „gerade aus dem Trockner“ und sind meist noch leicht feucht. Kühlschrank rostig und schmutzig. Bad: sauber, recht neu. Nicht komplett vom Raum abgetrennt, für uns aber kein Problem. Dusche: maximal lauwarm. Anlage selbst wirkt ok, solange man sich nicht genauer (z. B. hinter den Bungalows) umsieht. Strand: durch kurzen Fußweg (3 min) erreichbar. Einfach zu gehen, kein Müll. Strand selbst ist nichts besonderes. Schwimmen aufgrund der Strömung und Felsen schwer möglich. Frühstück: Toastbrot, Butter und Marmelade sind furchtbar. Rest ok, allerdings bekommt man selten das, was man bestellt. Personal kennt die Menükarte (3 Varianten zur Auswahl) nicht. Personal ist aber generell nett und bemüht. Fazit: sofern man keine hohen Ansprüche hat und nicht mehr als 50 Euro/ Nacht bezahlt = ok. Ich würde nicht nochmal hier buchen.
