A good place to stay on the beach
My usual go to place to stay while vacationing. It is an older hotel past its glory days compared to most timeshare resorts. (This one is not part of any timeshare company.) That is what gives it its charm. It is located in the romantic zone close to a lot of shopping and popular restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful always.

The staff were generally very good except for those at check-in. One woman was particularly rude. The hotel kept very clean. The single chair in my room was so uncomfortable. I had to use bed pillows trying to make it usable. It took days for them to fix a leaky pipe under the bathroom sink.

Our room was clean but old. Holes in curtains. No chairs in room. No WiFi in rooms. Toilet leaked when flushed. Bed comfort ok. On the other hand, our house keeper Mina was excellent!! Very accommodating and kept our room clean and refreshed daily. Pool cloudy the entire two weeks and lounge chairs were atrocious!

Excellent location close to Malacon, restaurants, entertainment very clean staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are older but very clean and bed was comfortable. Ice machine would be nice and perhaps a fridge in the room

I have been returning to this hotel year after year. Even though they’ve raised prices slightly over time, their value is unbeatable next to the competition. I love their prime beach front realestate and spread out compound that is larger than the other more cramped hotel competitors. They have 2 large pools, ample grounds, larger sized rooms, ocean view balconies, and a section of private beach with waiter service. The rooms are simple, not luxurious, but more than adequate furnishings, cable TV and AC. Housekeeping keeps rooms clean and sheets changed. Price is unbeatable.

It is a good place to stay with good common áreas although some are in need of TLC. Staff is very nice and helpful. Plan to venture out for dinner, after all, you are staying here for the proximity to the romantic area and the malecón. Rooms are good and clean. Overall a good place to stay.

This property was built in the 50s. The grounds are well maintained, with access to polls and beach. Beach service is available for food, drinks, chairs and shade. The rooms are clean, but dated. The bathrooms are very old and tired. We would not use the kitchen to cook, but appreciate the coffee, fridge, and microwave. Staff at the hotel and all friendly and helpful. Oh, we had a jr suite with a balcony on the ocean.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The check in and check out process was easy; they were able to store our bags before check in and after checkout while waiting on our room/ride. The room was very clean and they freshened it up every day. The bed was fairly comfortable, the air conditioning and hot water worked great. We were on the first floor, so it was a little noisy. The beach was clean and it was nice to have chairs/umbrellas, but it was frustrating that they allowed people to leave just a beach towel to save chairs for hours. People do set up right in front of the “private” beach area, and there are constantly vendors walking by to sell jewelry, massages, or food; but I think that’s just the PV beach experience. Overall, we had a great time!
