Strange that they charge $1.50 for 500 mL bottles of water during the boil water advisory. Are they trying to make a profit from a health hazard? You can just walk 2 minutes down the street to Save On and buy a 4 L jug for less than that.

I liked this hotel ! Very clean, comfortable beds. The only things I didn't like was the tight parking (fine if you have small car) and not many decent TV channels.

Room and bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable. Check in was pleasant. There's a very good restaurant across the street. There's a fair bit of traffic noise in the morning.

There was a boil water advisory in place for some time now but no notification was given prior to arrival. Drinking water was only available through purchase and not supplied to mitigate the problem. The staff was busy placing a tarpaulin on the roof of one of the second floors. Evidently there was a roof leaking. The internet Wifi was extremely slow and did not support video calls. These were the shortcomings of the property. On the positive side the rooms were renovated and ver clean. The furniture was modern and comfortable . The bed linen and bed was modern and I slept very well. The bathroom was retiled and refurbished to modern standards. Overall a good stay but I wished the owners would have been more forthright about the problems they were facing and have been more aiding to the client.

Pricey; poor value. Small room. 2 queen beds occupy most of the floor space. Limited access to electrical outlets for using and charging devices. Insufficient parking. Mattresses old and worn. Overall not a comfortable stay. Left a day early on a prepaid 4 night stay.
