The location and the view from the room did not disappoint. We got what we reserved. The room was spacious and clean with a view to the river. The furniture was a bit basic, and did not match the advertised picture but nonetheless comfortable and clean. The service was timely and accommodating.

The hotel is alright- I would not give it more than 4 stars compared to many 5 star places I stayed.even 4 is a stretch There is no buzz and there is no lounge or proper reception area. No space. The room had no furniture to sit on - just the bed. You need to be careful with classic room. It’s very small and you are in the roof or loft space with no proper windows. They are friendly and helpful- no issues except they charged my card 3 times apparently just in case - as they explained the policy to pay full amount at check in. Looks like check in staff was not aware or hesitant. So I suppose it’s not the policy I expect to see in a 5 star property. Hope all sorts out, but you simply shouldn’t expect to worry about these things in a classy place 😎 lastly, the only toilets in the basement were blocked and looked absolutely awful- again, wouldn’t expect this in 4 or 5 star places. Or any star really. Way to improve.
