This unique property is located on the splendid Portofino peninsula within a 10 minute walk from Portofino\'s famous yacht harbor with its relaxed seafood restaurants and designer shops. On the way to the villa you pass by Dolce Gabbana\'s private villa. Although close to the action, the villa is protected from the crowds and offers absolute privacy. It has private access to the sea and cannot be seen from the access road. Villa Terrazza is an independent villa with a beautiful garden, 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms; 2 single bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, large terrace, solarium and private sea access. Villa Terrazza sleeps 10. Situated on two levels, the villa has a large terrace shaded by a century-old wisteria, and a panoramic solarium. On the first level: A large living room with white sofas and sliding French windows overlooking the patio; formal dining room; kitchen (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, oven); a study; two double bedrooms; one twin bedded room; one single room; and 2 bathrooms (one with tub and the other with shower). Downstairs: 2 en suite twin bedrooms (can be made into queen size beds) and laundry. Outside: There are several lovely overlooks on the way down (approx. 112 steps) to the sea and the rock swimming platform. Note: Included in the rental of this villa is maid service 8 hours per day. Rossana, the maid can also prepare one meal per day for the guests. Please be aware that only the upper floor rooms are heated and that only 8 guests can be accommodated in the winter months. There is a 10% discount if the number of guests is 6 or fewer.

Cinque terre is a perfect day trip via train back and forth and walking from one village to the next.

Anyone who stays in Portofino must know how to adapt to the rhythms of a city that is entirely for pedestrians. It is best to stay here without a car and use public transportation. Trains on the main rail line from Torino to Rome stop in nearbly Rapallo, from where there is a bus to Portofino. The local train runs from Santa Margherita to the Cinque terre and there is a bus from S.Margherita to Portofino. A private elevator connects the harbour with the pedestrian road that runs to the lighthouse. Along this road are located the most exclusive villas. Villa Terrazza is about 300 meters from the elevator. The food shops in Santa Margherita can deliver to the villa (there is a service charge).
