Dear Mrs. Iris, Thank you for staying at The Lodge, and for providing your honest feedback.We're sorry to hear that the hotel design does not match your expectations.We understand that occasionally noise coming from the street can be inconvenient to people more sensitive to noise, in particularly rooms with balconies, however most of our rooms are very quiet even though we are in the heart of the city. When addressing your concern at the property we felt sorry to hear that moving to a quitter room was not an option.Regarding the comment about smoking, The Lodge has a strict non-smoking policy, the information is displayed throughout the property with the team presenting alternatives at any given time.We are most disappointed that your overall experience at our property did not meet your expectations, despite our best efforts to grant you a pleasant stay it seems we have fallen short of our goal.
